Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも1層がアルミナである1層又は2層以上の耐火物層を少なく とも部分的に被膜したボディーであって、 前記アルミナ層がd=0.5〜25μmの厚さと、 0.5μm<d<2.5μmに対して0.5μm<S<1μm、及び 2.5μm<d<25μmに対して0.5μm<S<4μm、の結晶粒径(S )を有し、且つ 1.5より大きく好ましくは2.5より大きく最も好ましくは3.0より大き い集合組織係数を有する(104)方向に集合組織化した単一相のα組織からな り、 集合組織係数が、 TC(hk1)=I(hk1)/I0(hk1)× [(1/N)Σ{I(hk1)/I0(hk1)}]-1 {式中で I(hk1)=(hk1)反射の測定強度 I0(hk1)=ASTM標準パウダーパターン回折データーの標準強度 n=計算に使用した回折数であり、使用した(hk1)回折が、(012)、 (104)、(110)、(113)、(024)、(116)}、 で定義されることを特徴とする耐火物層被膜ボディー。 2. 前記アルミナ層が暴露最外側層であることを特徴とする先の請求項に記 載のボディー。 3. 前記アルミナ層がTiCXNYOZ層と接触することを特徴とする先の請 求項のいずれか1項に記載のボディー。 4. 前記TiCXNYOZ層が被膜の最内側層であることを特徴とする請求項 5に記載のボディー。 5.前記ボディーが、超硬合金、窒化炭素系のチタニウムまたはラミックの切 削工具であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のボディー。 6. 前記ボディーが、1種または2種以上のアルミニウムハロゲン化物及び 加水分解剤及び/または酸化剤を含んでいる水素キャリアーガスに高温で接触さ せてαアルミナ被膜を有するボディーを被膜する方法であって、 Al2O3の核生成前にCVD反応器雰囲気の酸化ポテンシャルが、H2Oまた は他の酸化種の合計濃度を使用する低水準に好ましくは5ppm未満に保持され 、 Al2O3の核生成は反応ガスの制御された序列化によって開始し、 CO2とCOが先ずN2及び/またはAr雰囲気中の反応器に入れられ引き続き H2及びAl2Cl3が入れられ、 核生成中は温度が好ましくは950〜1000℃であり、且つAl2O3の成長 中は硫黄ドーパントが好ましくはH2Sを含むガスが添加される、 ことを特徴とする被膜αアルミナ被膜を有するボディーの被膜方法。
