Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 限界電流ゾンデを有し、その際限界電流ゾンデの、混合気にさらされるカ ソードが拡散通路内に配置されている形式の、混合気、特に内燃機関の排気ガス 中の窒素酸化物を選択的に測定するための電気化学センサにおいて、カソード( 16)が少なくとも2つの部分カソード(18,20)からなり、そのうちの第 1部分カソード(18)が窒素酸化物(NOX)を透過しない被覆(30)を備 えていることを特徴とする、電気化学センサ。 2. 第1部分カソード(18)が拡散通路(22)内で、拡散通路(22)の 開口(24)と第2部分カソード(20)の間に配置されている、請求項1記載 のセンサ。 3. 第1部分カソード(18)とアノード(14)が、酸素ポンプ電池を形成 する、請求項1又は2記載のセンサ。 4. 被覆(30)が、選択的な酸素透過性の膜(32)から形成される酸素拡 散バリヤである、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のセンサ。 5. 被覆(30)の大きさを介して、酸素ポンプ電池のポンプ効率が調整可能 である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のセンサ。 6. 拡散通路(22)内に、混合気(34)のため の拡散バリヤ(36)が配置されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記 載のセンサ。 7. 拡散通路(22)内に配置された拡散バリヤ(36)が、被覆(30)と 同じ材料からなる、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のセンサ。 8. 拡散バリヤ(36)が、多孔質で窒素酸化物を透過する構造を有する、請 求項7記載のセンサ。
