Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 特に押し出し成形組立構造を接合するためであり、組み立てられる部材を互 いに向くようにして固定する段階と、摩擦熱を発生する回転運動のもとで接合部 材の材料より硬い材料のプローブを接合ラインに沿って組み立てられる部材に差 し込む段階と、それにより近接部材の材料に可塑領域を作る段階からなる部材の 摩擦攪拌溶接法であって、更に部材の表面に沿って垂直な力を形成された可塑性 の材料に加え、可塑性の材料をプローブの後ろで凝固させる垂直な方向のプロー ブピンに沿って材料を同時に流出させることにより、近接の組み立てられる部材 の縦方向の延長部材に垂直に可塑性の材料を強力に流出させて形成された溶接の 継ぎ目を均質にすることを特徴とする摩擦攪拌溶接法。 2 プローブの底面部分(23)が溶接表面に対し垂直から若干傾斜して接合さ れる部材の近接表面と係合していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3 プローブピン(24)の外側構造により溶接領域を通り可塑性の材料が垂直 及び横方向に流出することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4 二個以上の部材がT型の溶接接合をなすように溶接されることを特徴とする 前記の請求項のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 5 形成された溶接の継ぎ目が重なり溶接接合であることを特徴とする請求項1 から3のいずれか1つに記載の 方法。 6 形成された溶接の継ぎ目が実質的に互いにいかなる角度でも配置された二つ の部材を接続する角の溶接であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1 つに記載の方法。 7 動力源に接続された上側部分(22)とピン(24)を備えた底面部分(2 3)を有し、回転しほぼ円筒形の本体(2)を備えた部材の攪拌摩擦溶接用非消 耗プローブ(1)であって、該プローブの底面部分(23)が凹面を有しており 、取り付けられたピン(24)がねじ状の表面構造を示すプローブの取り替え可 能な部分であることを特徴とする攪拌摩擦用非消耗プローブ。 8 ピンがピンの中央部分から横方向に突き出ており垂直に配置されたブレード の組を少なくとも1つ有していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のプローブ。
