Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.患者体内の内毒素を定量する方法であって、患者から採取した体液試料中の リポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度を決定し、および、内毒素量の標準指標とリポ 多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度とを対応せしめる工程を含む、患者体内の内毒素を 定量する方法。 2.前記試料が、血液試料である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.前記試料が、血漿あるいは血清試料である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.前記リポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度が、免疫学的分析法で決定される請求 の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5.前記免疫学的分析法が、サンドウィッチ免疫分析法である請求の範囲第4項 に記載の方法。 6.前記標準指標が、前処置期間内にて分析される前記患者のLBP濃度よりも 大きな濃度である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.患者の敗血症の存在あるいは程度を診断する方法であって、患者から採取し た体液試料中のリポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度を決定し、および、敗血症の存 在あるいは程度を示す標準指標とリポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度とを対応せし める 工程を含む、患者の敗血症の存在あるいは程度を診断する方法。 8.前記試料が、血液試料である請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 9.前記試料が、血漿あるいは血清試料である請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 10.前記リポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度が、免疫学的分析法で決定される請求 の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 11.前記免疫学的分析法が、サンドウィッチ免疫分析法である請求の範囲第10項 に記載の方法。 12.前記標準指標が、敗血症に罹患していない患者のLBP濃度よりも大きな濃 度である請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 13.敗血症患者の予後を見極める方法であって、患者から採取した体液試料中の リポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度を決定し、および、敗血症患者の予後に関する 標準指標とリポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度とを対応せしめる工程を含む、敗血 症患者の予後を見極める方法。 14.前記試料が、血液試料である請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 15.前記試料が、血漿あるいは血清試料である請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 16.前記リポ多糖結合性タンパク質の濃度が、免疫学的分析法で決定される請求 の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 17.前記免疫学的分析法が、サンドウィッチ免疫分析法である請求の範囲第16項 に記載の方法。 18.前記標準指標が、敗血症に罹患していない患者のLBP濃度よりも大きな濃 度である請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 19.ヒトの急性期応答におけるグラム陰性細菌内毒素をスクリーニングする方法 であって、以下の工程、すなわち; (a) ヒトの循環血液中のリポ多糖結合性タンパク質のレベルを測定し、および (b) 工程(a)で決定したリポ多糖結合性タンパク質のレベルと、グラム陰性細 菌内毒素に関与する急性期応答において増大するリポ多糖結合性タンパク質のレ ベルと、健常者の循環血液中のリポ多糖結合性タンパク質のレベルとを比較する 工程を含む、 ヒトの急性期応答におけるグラム陰性細菌内毒素をスクリーニングする方法 。 20.前記急性期応答が、敗血症に関連している請求の範囲第19項に記載の方法。
