Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.再充電可能電池において、 (a)電池の放電時に増量し、再充電時に減量する、アルカリ金属及び アルカリ土類金属からなる群のうち一種である挿入種Aを含有する第1挿入化合 物からなる正極、 (b)電池の放電時に減量し、再充電時に増量する挿入種Aを含有する 第2挿入化合物からなる負極、及び (c)水系溶剤混合物に溶解した種Aの塩からなる電解質 で構成された電池。 2.電解質のpHが7以上である請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池。 3.Aがリチウムである請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池。 4.第1挿入化合物がリチウム遷移金属酸化物である請求項3に記載の再充電可 能電池。 5.第1挿入化合物がリチウムマンガン酸化物である請求項4に記載の再充電可 能電池。 6.リチウムマンガン酸化物がスピネルLixMn2O4、ただし、xは0から2 の範囲にある数値である請求項5に記載の再充電可能電池。 7.第2挿入化合物がリチウム遷移金属酸化物である請求項3に記載の再充電可 能電池。 8.第2挿入化合物がリチウムマンガン酸化物である請求項7に記載の再充電可 能電池。 9.リチウムマンガン酸化物がスピネルLixMn2O4、ただし、xは0から2 の範囲にある数値である請求項8に記載の再充電可能電池。 10.リチウムマンガン酸化物がγ−MnO2構造のLiyMnO2、ただし、y は0から1の範囲にある数値である請求項8に記載の再充電可能電池。 11.第2挿入化合物がリチウムバナジウム酸化物である請求項7に記載の再充 電可能電池。 12.リチウムバナジウム酸化物がLizVO2(B)、ただし、zは0から0. 5の範囲にある数値である請求項11に記載の再充電可能電池。 13.Aがリチウムで、Aの塩がLiOH、LiCl、LiNO3、Li2SO4 又は酢酸リチウムである請求項1に記載の再充電可能電池。 14.電解質の追加成分としてさらに水酸化物塩を使用し、追加水酸化物塩の濃 度をAの塩の濃度未満にした請求項2に記載の再充電可能電池。 15.Aがリチウムで、Aの塩がLiCl、LiNO3、Li2SO4又は酢酸リ チウムであり、追加水酸化物塩がLiOHである請求項14に記載の再充電可能 電池。 16.再充電可能電池の製造方法において、 (a)アルカリ金属およびアルカリ土類金属からなる群のうちの一種を 表す種Aを挿入できる第1挿入化合物を選択し、 (b)種Aを挿入できる第2挿入化合物を選択し、 (c)溶剤混合物に溶解した種Aの塩を含む電解質を選択し、 (d)第1挿入化合物の正極と、第2挿入化合物の負極と、合計量の挿 入種Aと、上記負極から上記正極を電気的に隔離する隔離手段と、正極と電気的 に接触する正極電流集電手段と、負極と電気的に接触する負極電流集電手段と、 及び正極、負極、隔離手段、正極電流集電手段及び負極電流集電手段を収容する 容器とを有する電池を組み立てることからなる再充電可能電池の製造方法。 17.電池を構成する前に、ゼロから合計量の範囲にある挿入種Aの一部を第1 挿入化合物に挿入する請求項16に記載の製造方法。 18.電池を構成する前に、ゼロから合計量の範囲にある挿入種Aの一部を第2 挿入化合物に挿入する請求項16に記載の製造方法。 19.第1挿入化合物及び第2挿入化合物のいずれか一方に、電気化学的手段に よって、ゼロから合計量の範囲にあり、Aの塩に由来する挿入種Aの一部を挿入 する請求項16に記載の製造方法。 20.追加成分としてさらに水酸化物塩を使用し、上記追加水酸化物塩の濃度を Aの塩の濃度未満にした電解質を選択する選択する請求項16に記載の製造方法 。 21.選択した第1挿入化合物および第2挿入化合物が同じ化合物である請求項 16に記載の製造方法。
