Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも2個のほぼ平行な情報層が形成され、単一の走査ヘッドにより走 査するのに適当な記録媒体において、各情報層が、情報層を走査するための情報 を有する制御情報のブロックを有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 2.請求項1に記載の記録媒体において、前記ブロックが各情報層のほぼ同一の 物理的位置を有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 3.請求項1に記載の記録媒体において、ある情報層のユーザ情報がこの情報層 において所定の方向に沿って順次順序付けられ、別の情報層のユーザ情報が上記 方向と反対の方向に沿って順序付けられていることを特徴とする記録媒体。 4.請求項1、2又は3に記載の記録媒体において、1個のブロックが記録媒体 の情報層の数に関するインディケーションを有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 5.請求項1、2又は3に記載の記録媒体において、少なくとも1個のブロック が、この層に記録されているユーザ情報に関する全体的なインディケーションを 有するサブブロックを含むことを特徴とする記録媒体。 6.請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の記録媒体において、前記記録媒 体をディスク状としたことを特徴とする記録媒体。 7.請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の記録媒体において、前記記録媒 体を光学式記録媒体としたことを特徴とする記録媒体。 8.請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の記録媒体において、ユーザ情報 を読み出し又は書き込む毬前に制御情報のブロックを順次読み出す手段が設けら れていることを特徴とする記録媒体。 9.少なくとも2個のほぼ平行な情報層が形成されている記録媒体において、第 1の情報層が第1のフォーマットのユーザ情報を有し、第2の情報層が第2のフ ォーマットの同一のユーザ情報を有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 10.請求項9に記載の記録媒体において、前記第2の情報層が第3のフォーマ ットのユーザ情報を有することを特徴とする記録媒体。 11.請求項9に記載の記録媒体において、前記第2の情報層が、前記ユーザ情 報に加えて別のユーザ情報を有することを特徴とする記録媒体。
