Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.光源と、 少なくとも1つの反射空間光変調器とを備え、 前記変調器への入力光路は1つのプリズムアセンブリに組み込まれ、前記プリ ズムアセンブリは、入射光を前記1つの空間光変調器に偏向しかつ前記1つの空 間光変調器によって生成された変調光を透過するのに効果的な少なくとも1つの エアギャップを含む、投影システム。 2.前記反射空間光変調器は変形可能なミラーデバイスである、請求項1に記載 のシステム。 3.前記反射空間光変調器は反射液晶デバイスである、請求項1または請求項2 に記載のシステム。 4.前記空間光変調器の数と同じ数のエアギャップが設けられる、請求項1ない し請求項3のいずれかに記載のシステム。 5.互いに非点収差を補償するように構成される少なくとも2つのエアギャップ が設けられる、請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載のシステム。 6.光を複数個の空間光変調器に向けるために1つのエアギャップが用いられる 、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載のシステム。 7.エアギャップを備え、前記エアギャップは、複数個の反射空間光変調器から の空間的に変調された光が前記エアギャップによって出力手段の方に向けられる ように構成さ れる、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載のシステム。 8.前記プリズムアセンブリの中への光路と前記プリズムアセンブリの外への光 路とが同軸である、請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれかに記載のシステム。 9.入射赤外光を、前記1つの空間光変調器によって生成される空間的に変調さ れた光から離れるように送るための手段を備える、請求項1ないし請求項8のい ずれかに記載の投影システム。 10.前記光源からの光を異なる色成分ビームに分割しかつその後光を1つのビ ームに再結合するための手段を備え、前記光分割手段は前記1つのプリズムアセ ンブリに組み込まれる、請求項1ないし請求項9のいずれかに記載の投影システ ム。 11.前記プリズムアセンブリは、前記異なる色成分ビームがそれぞれ異なる前 記反射空間光変調器に向けられるように構成される、請求項10に記載のシステ ム。 12.前記光分割手段の少なくとも一部分は前記光源からの光を連続的に分割す るように構成される、請求項10または請求項11に記載のシステム。 13.前記光分割手段の少なくとも一部分は交差構成で構成される、請求項10 ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載のシステム。 14.前記光分割手段は少なくとも1つの二色性表面を含 む、請求項10ないし請求項13のいずれかに記載のシステム。 15.前記二色性表面は前記反射空間光変調器による入力ビームの偏向の面に対 して平行な方向に延在し、前記二色性表面は、光を分割するための第1の領域と 前記空間光変調器からの空間的に変調された光を再結合するための第2の領域と に分割され、前記第1および第2の領域はそれぞれ異なる特性を有する、請求項 10ないし請求項14のいずれかに記載のシステム。 16.空間光変調器システムにおいて用いるためのプリズムアセンブリであって 、前記プリズムアセンブリは、入射光を少なくとも1つの空間光変調器の方に偏 向しかつ前記空間光変調器によって生成された変調光を透過するのに効果的な少 なくとも1つのエアギャップを備える、プリズムアセンブリ。 17.入射色光を異なる色成分光ビームに分離するのに効果的な色分割手段を組 み込む、請求項16に記載のプリズムアセンブリ。 18.前記色分割手段の少なくとも一部分は入射光を連続的に分割するように構 成される、請求項17に記載のプリズムアセンブリ。 19.前記色分割手段の少なくとも一部分は交差構成で構成される、請求項17 または請求項18に記載のプリズムアセンブリ。 20.少なくとも1つの反射空間光変調器と、異なる波長帯域内の入射光を分割 しかつ前記空間光変調器での反射後に光を再結合するのに効果的な少なくとも1 つの二色性表面とを備え、前記二色性表面は前記空間光変調器に入射するビーム および前記空間光変調器から反射されるビームを含む平面に対して平行な方向に 延在し、前記二色性表面は、光を分割する領域と光を再結合する領域とで異なる 特性を有するように構成される、投影システム。 21.実質的に添付の図面を参照して以前に説明したようなものである、空間光 変調器システム。 22.実質的に添付の図面を参照して以前に説明したようなものである、プリズ ムアセンブリ。
