- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.組織接触表面を有する少なくとも一つの部材を有するカテーテルにおいて、 抗微生物金属の実質的に浸出しない表面処理を特徴とする表面からなるカテーテ ル。 2.抗微生物金属がさらに銀からなる請求項1記載のカテーテル。 3.抗微生物金属が実質的に浸出しないことが確実である十分な深さまで抗微生 物金属を導入する請求項1記載のカテーテル。 4.抗微生物金属がイオンビーム支援蒸着により導入される請求項1記載のカテ ーテル。 5.抗微生物金属がイオン・インプランテーションを用いて導入される請求項1 記載のカテーテル。 6.表面が、さらに抗微生物金属に対する該表面への結合を高める少くとも1つ 以上の付着促進原子を含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のカテーテル。 7.付着促進原子がチタンからなる請求項6記載のカテーテル。 8.表面が、さらに付着促進原子の分解または拡散に対する障壁を形成し、かつ 抗微生物金属と付着促進原子とのガルバニック相互作用を遅らせる、少くとも1 つの障壁原子を含有することを特徴とする請求項6記載のカテーテル。 9.障壁原子がパラジウムからなる請求項8記載のカテーテル。 10.表面処理が、該表面に接して配置され且つ該表面と抗微生物金属との間に 挿入されたチタン、および該チタンと該抗微生物金属との間に挿入されたパラジ ウムをともなう請求項1記載のカテーテル。 11.該表面がカテーテルカフ表面である請求項1記載のカテーテル。 12.カフが実質的に多孔性材料から形成されている請求項11記載のカテーテ ル。 13.カフが生物適合性のある材料から形成されている請求項11記載のカテー テル。 14.該材料がポリエステルである請求項13記載のカテーテル。 15.抗微生物金属が抗微生物効果を生じ、この抗微生物効果は該表面の周囲の 組織ではなくカフの表面に実質的に限定されている請求項11記載のカテーテル 。 16.組織接触表面を有する皮下カフにおいて、実質的に浸出しない抗微生物金 属の表面処理を特徴とする表面からなる皮下カフ。 17.抗微生物金属が銀からなる請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 18.確実に抗微生物金属が実質的に浸出しないことを確実にするために十分な 深さまで抗微生物金属が導入されている請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 19.抗微生物金属がイオンビーム支援蒸着により導入される請求項16記載の 皮下カフ。 20.抗微生物金属がイオン・インプランテーションにより導入される請求項1 6記載の皮下カフ。 21.該表面が、さらに表面に対する抗微生物金属の結合を高める付着促進原子 の少なくとも一つの付加的種により特徴付けられる請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 22.付着促進原子がさらにチタンからなる請求項21記載の皮下カフ。 23.該表面が、さらに付着促進原子の分解または拡散に対する障壁を形成し且 つ抗微生物金属と付着促進原子とのガルバニック相互作用を遅らせる、少くとも 1つの障壁原子を含有することを特徴とする請求項21記載の皮下カフ。 24.障壁原子がさらにパラジウムからなる請求項23記載の皮下カフ。 25.該表面が、さらに表面に接して配置され且つ表面と抗微生物金属との間に 挿入されたチタンの層、および該チタンと該抗微生物金属との間に挿入されたパ ラジウムの層を含有することを特徴とする請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 26.カフが実質的に多孔性材料から形成される請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 27.カフが生物適合性のある関連材料から形成される請求項16記載の皮下カ フ。 28.材料がポリエステルである請求項27記載の皮下カフ。 29.抗微生物金属が抗微生物効果を生じ、この抗微生物効果は表面の周囲の組 織ではなくカフの表面に実質的に限定されている請求項16記載の皮下カフ。 30.抗微生物効果がカフの自己安定化をも提供する請求項16記載の皮下カフ 。 31.該表面が、繊維間に隙間のある空間を有する織物構造を形成する、組織と 接触繊維であり、ここで表面処理が前記織物構造中で隙間のある空間を満たすこ となく組織と接触繊維に導入される、それによって皮下カフの多孔性を実質的に 保持していることを特徴とする請求項26記載の皮下カフ。 32.表面処理が、5ミクロンから5000ミクロンまでのおおよその範囲の深 さまで織物構造中に導入されている請求項31記載の皮下カフ。 33.表面処理が、隙間のある空間を満たすことなく、組織接触繊維に対する抗 微生物金属の結合を高める少くとも1つの付着促進原子を伴なうことを特徴とす る請求項31記載の皮下カフ。 34.表面処理が、付着促進原子の分解または拡散に対する障壁を形成し且つ隙 間のある空間を満たすことなく抗微生物金属と付着促進原子とのガルバニック相 互作用を遅らせる少くとも1つの障壁原子を伴なう請求項33記載の皮下カフ。 35.多孔性材料から形成され且つ組織接触表面を有する皮下カフにおいて、組 織接触表面が抗微生物金属の表面処理を特徴とし、該表面処理は、確実に銀が実 質的に浸出しないために十分な深さまで導入された銀、それに表面に対する銀の 結合を高める付着促進原子、および銀と付着促進原子とのガルバニック相互作用 を遅らせる障壁原子を含有することを特徴とする皮下カフ。
