Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly display a display character by forming a through hole at the block part of the unit, providing a molding pin in a mold, forming a cutout thereat, and obtaining a communicating passage between the cutout and the resin inlet of the mold. SOLUTION: Primary resin is filled from an inlet 66 to a cavity, and a primary resin layer 51 is molded. A through hole 65 communicating with the opening 43a of an L-shaped communicating passage 45a is formed at the layer 51. Thereafter, a cavity 61 is formed to the layer 51 by using a forming mold 55, secondary resin is filled from the one inlet 59, and filled in the cavity 61. On the other hand, the secondary resin if filled from the other inlet 60, introduced to the blocked part 62 via the inlet passage 64 and the passage 45a, and filled in the part 62.

In this two-color molding method, a primary resin layer having a display portion in which characters or symbols are formed to project is formed on the surface of a display body, and then only the upper surface of the display portion such as the characters is left. This is a method in which a resin layer is laminated on the surface of a primary resin layer to integrally form a display body. This display body is a display body having a translucent character portion in which a display lamp is turned on from behind the display body during operation so that the display content of the operation switch can be clearly recognized.

However, in the display body 95, since the protruding piece 97 is provided on the back side of the display body 95, the protruding piece 97 interferes with the depression of the operation switch, which hinders the operation of the switch. This is expected, and even if the projecting piece 97 is cut off, the work load for that is increased.

In order to solve the above technical problems, according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a display portion having a light-transmitting property, in which a symbol or the like is formed to project from a base portion, is formed as a primary resin layer. 51
In the manufacturing method of the translucent display body, which is formed by filling the secondary resin injection port 59 with the secondary resin having the light shielding property and laminating the through resin, the through hole 65 is formed in the closed portion 62 of the display portion.
And a molding pin 58 that can project outward is provided inside the molding die of the translucent display body 50, and the notch 45 is formed at the tip of the molding pin 58 to form the through hole 65 and the notch. Other secondary resin injection port 6 provided in the portion 45 and the molding die
A communication passage is secured between the secondary resin injection port 5 and
The secondary resin is injected from 9 while the secondary resin injected from the other secondary resin injection port 60 is filled into the closed portion 62 via the communication passage.

Further, projecting pins 56 and 57 for projecting the molded light-transmitting display body 50 are provided inside the molding die, while the cutout portion 45 is rearward from a convex portion at the center of the front side of the cutout portion 45. When the translucent display body 50 attached to the molding die 54 is separated, an inclined surface is provided toward the bottom of the notched groove, and both the projecting pins 56 and 57 and the molding pin 58 are projected to allow translucent display. When the body 50 is separated from the molding die 54 and the notch of the molding pin 58 is exposed to the outside of the molding die, the protrusion is stopped, and thereafter only the protrusion pins 56 and 57 are protruded.

According to the above means, one secondary resin injection port 5
The secondary resin injected into the molding die from 9 is the primary resin layer 5
The cavity formed by 1 and the molding die is filled. On the other hand, the secondary resin injected from the other secondary resin injection port 60 flows into the closing portion 62 through the notch and the through hole 65 in the closing portion 62 and fills the closing portion 62. As a result, an independent secondary resin layer 52 is formed in the closed portion 62. After that, the molding pin 58 is ejected and the display body is separated from the molding die.

Further, according to the above embodiment, it is sufficient to provide only one through hole in the primary resin layer. Therefore, for example, as shown in FIG.
1 has a narrow width (width W1 or W2 in the drawing), and it is difficult to form a U-shaped communication path from the cavity 61 through the primary resin layer 51 to the closed portion 62 by providing a through hole in this portion. Even in such a case, according to the present embodiment, since the secondary resin is injected from the other injection port 60 and the secondary resin is flown into the closed portion 62 from the one through hole, no inconvenience occurs. .

In this case, the L-shaped piece 67 is locked by the convex portion 46 of the molding pin 58, and also the L-shaped piece 67.
Since the base part of the is thinly formed, the L-shaped piece 67 can be separated without difficulty. After that, if the molding pin 58 is ejected and the L-shaped piece 67 attached thereto is blown off using compressed air or the like, no human labor is required.

As described above, according to the method of manufacturing a light-transmitting display body of the present invention, a through hole is formed in a closed portion of a display portion, a molding pin is provided in a molding die, and a notch is formed in the molding die. Since a part is formed and a communication passage is secured between this cutout and another secondary resin injection port provided in the molding die, a secondary resin layer is laminated on the back surface of the primary resin layer. Therefore, even when light is emitted from the back of the translucent display, the effect of the shadow due to the secondary resin is eliminated, and the display characters and the like are uniformly displayed on the display unit.
