Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of a catalyst in a functional bag filter by blowing an alumina or silica fine particle to an upstream flue of a bag house, in which the functional bag filter carrying an activated material for removing a harmful component is housed. SOLUTION: A waste gas of a municipal waste incineration furnace is introduced through the flue 9, and at first, slaked lime is blown into the flue 9 from a slaked lime storage tank 5 by a powder feed device 4. Next, an ammonia water is blown into the flue 9 from an ammonia water storage tank 6 by a pump 7. Finally, the alumina or silica fine particle is blown into the flue 9 from an alumina of silica fine particle storage tank 3 by the powder feed device 4. The waste gas is introduced into the bag house 1 and a harmful material such as smoke dust, hydrogen chloride is removed by the activated material contained in the functional bag filter 2 and the slaked lime blown into the flue 9. The smoke dust, the slaked lime and the alumina or silica fine particle stuck to the functional bag filter 2 are stripped off and discharged to a smoke dust storage tank 8 from a hopper part of the bag house 1.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, dust removal in municipal solid waste incinerators has been increasingly performed using a bag filter instead of an electric dust collector that generates dioxin. As the capacity of municipal solid waste incinerators has increased, the amount of exhaust gas has also increased, and the capacity of bag filters for removing dust in exhaust gas has also increased. Therefore, the equipment cost and the site area for constructing a large-sized baghouse are huge, and it is difficult to realize it. Therefore, a bag filter having a function of removing other harmful components such as nitrogen oxides and hydrogen chloride in addition to dust removal is proposed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 4-36729 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-84411. . There is an example of advanced treatment in which a bag filter in which a denitration catalyst is carried on a nonwoven fabric to have a denitration function and in-furnace denitration in which urea is injected into an incinerator are combined. In addition, there is an example in which dust in exhaust gas, hydrogen chloride, sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, and dioxin in an exhaust gas are simultaneously removed by using a functional bag filter.

The exhaust gas from municipal solid waste incinerators contains a large amount of hydrogen chloride and chlorides of alkali metals. Hydrogen chloride reacts with ammonia as a reducing agent injected during denitration to form ammonium chloride. Generate. In addition, the sulfur oxide also partially produces ammonium sulfate. These products poison the catalyst, which is the active substance of the functional bag filter, and block the pores of the adsorbent, which is a major cause of deterioration. The amount of the active substance carried on the bag filter is limited to some extent in consideration of the thickness of the bag filter and the gas flow resistance, and the life of the active substance is shorter than the conventional method of using the active substance. Thus, the life of a functional bag filter, which is dominated by the life of the active substance, is significantly shorter than the life of the bag filter material. As described above, no consideration is given to improving the life of the bag filter in the exhaust gas treatment of the municipal solid waste incinerator, and there is a problem in long-term use.

[0008] The alumina or silica fine particles blown upstream of the functional bag filter form a powder layer on the surface of the functional bag filter together with the other adsorbents and dust that have been blown, and pores contained in exhaust gas. When the plugging substance passes through the powder layer, the alumina or silica fine particles adsorb and remove the pore plugging substance, and the active substance in the functional bag filter is not exposed to the pore plugging substance, so that the life is improved.

As shown in FIG. 1, the material of the functional bag filter 2 contains a denitration catalyst, an adsorbent for removing dioxin, and a mercury adsorbent for heavy metals, which are active substances 10, all of which have pores. A powder layer is formed on the surface of the functional bag filter 2 by slaked lime 11 and alumina or silica fine particles 12 blown into the flue 9 and the collected dust 13. When the exhaust gas passes through the powder layer, the pore blocking substances contained in the exhaust gas are adsorbed by the alumina or silica fine particles 12 and the active substance 10 contained in the functional bag filter 2 is removed.
Is not exposed to pore-blocking substances, so its activity is maintained and its life is improved. The same effect can be obtained if the substance blown into the flue 9 is an oxide having a specific surface area of 150 m 2 / g and a pore volume of 0.3 cc / g or more other than the alumina or silica fine particles 12. The position at which the alumina or silica fine particles 12 are blown into the flue 9 is not limited to that shown in FIG. 1, and may be any position as long as it is upstream of the functional bag filter 2. The amount of the alumina or silica fine particles 12 blown into the flue 9 is satisfactory if it is at least 2 wt% or more and 5 wt% or more of the dust amount.
