Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a constitutive member caused by repetition of insertion-extraction of a circuit board by forming a projecting part at least as a two-step difference structure different in a projecting length, and also forming a depth of a circuit board inserting part of a connector as a two-step different structure coincident with this projecting length. SOLUTION: A connecting terminal part 2 arranged on one end of a circuit board 1 projects on one end of a circuit board 1, and this projecting length is formed in a step different structure of two stages so as to become asymmetric on the left and right, for example, so as to become two different lengths. On the other hand, in a circuit board inserting part 4 of a connector 3, the projecting length is also arranged in a depth of two-step differences so as to coincide with the two-step difference structure of a projecting part of the circuit board 1. By being constituted in this way, when the obverse and reverse of the circuit board 1 are going to be inversely inserted by a mistake, since insertion into the connector is naturally impossible, the face of inversion can be found, and erroneous insertion can be previously prevented. Damage by the fatigue degradation can also be eliminated.

In the conventional connector structure shown in FIG. 3, even when the board 1 is inserted upside down, the locking rods 6, 6 'contract once due to the action of the internal spring. Therefore, there is a risk that the connection terminal portion 2 of the substrate 1 is inserted into the connector 3 and connected. Further, when the insertion and withdrawal operation is repeated many times, the fatigue of the locking rods 6 and 6 ′ may be advanced and the locking rods 6 and 6 ′ may be broken.
