SOLUTION: An electrical terminal 10 has a barrel-shaped wire clamping part 11 for connecting a wire on its one side, and also has a circuit board connection part 12 connected to a flexible circuit board on the opposite side. The circuit board connection part 12 has a barrel-shaped clamping fixed part 15 and a contact part 16 electrically connected to the flexible circuit board. The contact part 16 comprises a box-shaped part 17 formed by folding a metal plate, an elastic piece 18 positioned in overlapping relation with the box-shaped part 17, and a latch part 21. A projecting piece 18a capable engaging with the latch part 21 is provided at both ends of the elastic piece 18.
