路8によりスイッチ回路3をオフ状態にし、高圧パルス
の発生は停止する。同時にランプ電流検知回路7はタイ
マ回路3をリセット状態に保持する。 瞬時停電などに
より放電灯7が消灯すると、タイマ回路3はリセット状
態になっているためスイッチ回路3が動作し放電灯7に
は高圧パルスが印加され、放電灯7が冷えると再度点灯
する。なお、放電灯7が点灯していない状態では、ラン
プ電流が流れないためランプ電流検知回路8は動作せず
従ってタイマ回路3もリセットされない。その結果、放
電灯7が点灯していない状態では高圧パルスはタイマ回
路3によって設定された所定時間(通常約30分)発生
するが、所定時間経過後は高圧パルスの発生は停止す

を一度オフし再投入する必要がないためその効果は大き
