Description of the Related Art In surgical operations on the oral cavity, nasal cavity, maxilla, orbit, and maxillofacial region, the surgical field is often deep and narrow, and it is desired to secure the workability by illuminating the surgical field with a lighting device. There was a request. FIG. 3 shows an example of a retractor proposed in view of the above demand. In FIG.
The retractor 1 includes an elongated retractor main body 3 having a grip portion 2 gripped by a user at one end, and an L-shaped blade 4 detachably attached to the retractor main body 3 by a locking means (not shown). Have. The retractor main body 3 includes an illuminating portion 5 that bends in an L shape from a tip protruding from the grip portion 2 and irradiates illumination light in a projecting direction of the tip 4 a of the blade 4 attached to the retractor main body 3. ing. The lighting unit 5 includes the retractor 1
The illumination light emitted from the separate light source 6 is guided from the connection optical cable 10 to the emission end 8 via the optical cable 7 built in the retractor main body 3 to form the blade tip 4a.
The light is emitted in the direction of projection. Therefore, in the retractor 1, the illuminating light of the illuminating unit 5 is applied to the operating field where the blade tip 4a is inserted and pushed open, so that the operability of the operation is ensured. Note that the connection optical cable 10 is optically connected to the optical cable 7 by connecting to the connection port 9 provided on the grip portion 2.

(A) Since a hook head incorporating a hook member and a light guide is employed, the distance between the tip of the hook member protruding from the hook head and the emission end of the light guide is appropriately set in advance. can do. (B) According to (a), the hook member of the target size and the illumination can be easily obtained simply by attaching / detaching the hook head to / from the gripping portion and replacing it. (C) The configuration in which the power supply is incorporated in the gripping portion enables the light source of the light guide to be incorporated in either the gripping portion or the crook head, eliminating the need for the conventional optical cable for connection, thereby improving the workability of the operation. Is improved. (D) Since an optical cable for connection or the like is not required, the whole can be easily sterilized.

A light guide that guides and emits light emitted from a light source by the power of a power supply incorporated in the grip portion or the hook head to an emission end disposed near a protruding tip of the hook member from the hook head. The incorporation into the hook head is a means for solving the above problem. In the present invention, the illuminating light emitted from the emission end of the light guide is applied to the operative field, thereby ensuring workability in the operative field. As the light guide, various optical waveguides other than optical fibers and optical cables can be used. In particular, it is preferable in terms of cost to employ a small-diameter optical fiber or optical cable, and furthermore, the size in the vicinity of the emission end can be reduced, and the operability of the operation can be further improved. As a light source,
Although various configurations such as a halogen bulb and a semiconductor laser can be employed, it is more preferable to employ a so-called cold light source which does not particularly affect heat generation. As a result, inconveniences such as heat generation of the optical fiber and the like can be avoided. In addition, the arrangement position of the light source may be any of the grip portion and the hook head, and when the light source is on the grip portion side, a light guide is installed between the grip portion and the hook head, and the light guide is on the hook head side. In some cases, conductive means for guiding the electric power of the power source on the gripping portion side to the hook head side is provided.

The light guide 34 penetrates the head main body 31 from a light receiving attachment 37 projecting from the lower end of the head main body 31 (the lower side in FIG. 1A). It is wired near the member tip 33b. The light guide 34 projecting upward from the head main body 31 passes through the insertion tube 38 fixed in the concave portion 33d of the hook member 33 facing the hook surface 33c and reaches near the tip 33b of the hook member 33. I'm sorry. At the tip of the light guide 34 in the vicinity of the tip 33b of the hook member, an emission end 39 for radially emitting the transmission light in the light guide 34 is provided.
It has. The light emitting end 39 can be easily obtained by processing the tip of the light guide 34, which is an optical fiber, into a target shape, or by incorporating an optical component different from the light guide 34. Further, since the insertion tube 38 can be made as thin as substantially the same as the outer shape of the light guide 34 which is an optical fiber, the insertion tube 38 is almost entirely accommodated in the recess 33d, and extends outside the recess 33d. The projecting dimension of the insertion tube 38 can be extremely small. Thus, the light guide 34 and the insertion tube 38 do not hinder the user (operator) from viewing the operation portion F. The emission end 39 is disposed at a position slightly retracted from the insertion tube tip 38a toward the back. As shown in FIG. 2, the light emitted from the emission end 39 is emitted to a certain area within the range of the opening of the insertion tube tip 38a. The insertion tube tip 38a preferably has a reflective inner surface. In this case, since the light emitted from the emission end 39 is emitted after being reflected within the insertion tube tip 38a, the light can be emitted stably to the intended emission area.

When the light source 24 is mounted on the grip portion 21, the light source 24 is inserted into the light guide tube 21 c protruding from the bracket 27 and guides the light emitted from the light source 24 to the light guide 34. The inner surface of the light receiving attachment 37 is a reflection surface, and the light emitted from the light source 24 is efficiently guided to the end of the light guide 34 connected to the light receiving attachment 37 with almost no attenuation.

Therefore, in the operating room, a plurality of sizes of the hook heads 22 are prepared and placed in advance, but all the hook heads 22 are positioned at an appropriate distance near the tip 33b of the hook member 3b.

Since it is cordless due to the configuration in which the grip 3 and the light source 24 are incorporated in the grip portion 21, there are few parts that obstruct the operation like the optical cable 10 for connection of the retractor of the conventional configuration, and the operability of the operation is improved. In addition, since the structure is simple, it is possible to further reduce the overall weight and size, and to obtain effects such as securing a user's view and improving operability. Furthermore, since the number of parts to be sterilized is reduced, cleanliness of the operating environment can be easily ensured. Power supply 23
The fact that both the light source 24 and the light source 24 are built into the grip portion 21 makes it unnecessary to provide a separate light source, so that it is easy to ensure the cleanliness of the entire operation room.

(B) By attaching and detaching the hook member incorporating the hook member and the light guide to and from the gripping portion, the emission end of the light guide is always positioned near the tip of the hook member projecting from the hook head. As a result, the operation field can be stably illuminated according to the size of the hook member, so that the operability of the operation is improved. (B) By simply attaching and detaching the hook member having both the hook member and the light guide to and from the gripper and replacing it, the hook member of the desired size and the illumination can be easily obtained. (C) The configuration in which the power source of the light source is incorporated in the gripping portion allows the light source of the light guide to be incorporated in either the gripping portion or the hook head, eliminating the need for the conventional optical cable for connection. Workability is improved. (D) According to the above (c), sterilization of the whole becomes easy by omitting the connection optical cable and the like. (E) According to the above (c), downsizing and simplification of the structure can be achieved, and the cost can be reduced. (F) According to (c), the operability is improved by reducing the size and weight, omitting the connection optical cable, and the like. In addition, the operability of the operation is improved by omitting the connection optical cable which has conventionally hindered the operation.
