(57) [Problem] To successively cut a continuous veneer veneer carried in by a front conveyor, a pair of rolls for nipping and transporting the veneer veneer from both upper and lower surfaces, and a single roll of the pair of rolls By rotating the blade edge one-way within the facing interval of the pair of rolls with a cutting blade arranged with the blade edge on the plate unloading side in the direction opposite to the transport direction, the blade edge contacts the blade edge. The veneer veneer is cut by bringing the peripheral surface of the roll into contact with the peripheral surface of the opposing roll. At that time, if the veneer veneer is constantly nipped and transported from both sides by a pair of rolls, the veneer veneer is meandered, and the meandering of the veneer veneer is further promoted. A roll (1) is lowered only when cutting veneer veneer (P), and veneer veneer (P) is held between rolls (1) and (3). Then, after the cutting is completed, the roll 1 is raised to release the holding of the veneer P.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as described in JP-B-53-8387, at least a single veneer (hereinafter referred to as "continuous veneer") conveyed by a conveyor is cut into a fixed length. A pair of rotating rolls (hereinafter, referred to as rolls) for nipping and transporting the plate from both upper and lower surfaces, and a cutting edge on a single sheet unloading side of the pair of rolls, which is directed in a direction opposite to the transport direction, is a cutting blade. A cutting blade provided at a position in contact with a peripheral surface of each of the rolls on the carry-out side from a single plate clamping position of the pair of rolls by rotating the cutting blade about the base; The cutting blade reciprocating rotation mechanism for reciprocatingly rotating the pair of rolls within the opposing interval of the pair of rolls, and the reciprocating rotation mechanism of the cutting blade are coupled to the pair of rolls each time a single plate cutting signal is responded. Rotate one way within the interval between the rolls so that the cutting edge By to a controller from a peripheral surface of one of the rolls has a circumferential surface of the other roll opposite to the abutment consists of veneer cutting device, has been cut veneer rotates the cutting blade. However, such a single-plate cutting device has the following problems. That is, the continuous veneer conveyed by the carrying mechanism such as a conveyor, the center, right side, left side in the direction orthogonal to the conveying direction, the material, cracking state, avale state is different respectively, during the conveyance or the pair The veneer may meander when loaded between the rolls, and in particular, if the veneer veneer is carried between the pair of rolls during transportation by the loading mechanism, the veneer of the veneer may be further promoted. However, in any case, there is a problem that an accurate cutting perpendicular to the transport direction cannot be performed. In particular, in the latter case, it is extremely difficult to correct the meandering of the veneer with an ordinary meandering correction device.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, one roll constituting a pair of rolls is moved with respect to the other roll. A reciprocating mechanism for reciprocating the veneer in a direction away from the veneer is provided so that the rolls of the veneer are separated at the end of the veneer cutting, and the sandwiched state of the veneer is released at the end of the veneer cutting. Here, the reciprocating mechanism is configured to reciprocate both the upper and lower rolls, even if only one of the rolls is reciprocated. The mechanism may also include a first moving mechanism that always moves in a direction away from the first moving mechanism and a second moving mechanism that moves in a direction in which the moving mechanism approaches and overcomes the moving force of the first moving mechanism. It may be composed of two mechanisms.
In addition, the controller controls the reciprocating mechanism, and more specifically, controls the reciprocating mechanism to rotate the reciprocating mechanism after cutting the veneer by the cutting blade.
In this case, the first moving mechanism operates to move in the direction in which the first moving mechanism always moves away from each other and moves in the direction approaching each other at the time of the next cutting. Therefore, it is sufficient to control only the operation of the second moving mechanism. That is, the operation of the second moving mechanism is released after the cutting is completed, and the two rolls are operated so as to move in a direction approaching each other at the time of cutting. Of course, the second moving mechanism may be positively operated so as to move the two rolls away from each other after the cutting is completed. In addition, the cutting blade is, for example, in the case of fixed-size cutting, a detector provided on an upper and lower two-stage carrying-out mechanism, in the case of dimensional cutting, related to the detection operation of a detector provided on the carrying-in mechanism The reciprocating mechanism is controlled based on these detection signals or the veneer cutting signal. The invention according to claim 4 is
This invention relates to a veneer cutting method. After the veneer is cut, both rolls are released to release the sandwiched state of the veneer, and at the time of cutting, the rolls are returned to their original positions to maintain the sandwiched state. Thus, cutting is performed while changing the interval between the two rolls. The direction related to the change of the interval between the two rolls may be a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the veneer as in the invention of claim 6 or the veneer as in the invention of claim 7 May be the same direction as the transport direction.

[0005] In the invention described in each of the above claims, the veneer is pinched by a pair of rolls at the time of cutting, and the pinch is released after the cutting is completed. Therefore, the veneer does not meander, and the meandering of the veneer carried in the meandering is not further promoted, so that it is hardly difficult to correct the meandering by any meandering correcting device.

Next, the operation of the embodiment configured as described above will be described. First, with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5, a description will be given of pinching of the veneer P by the rolls 1 and 3 and release of the pinching. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the clamping of the veneer P is released, and the veneer immediately after cutting (more precisely, a continuous veneer whose front end is cut) P
Is transported by the front conveyor 9 and the rear conveyor 21 (13). In this state, a signal from the controller issued based on the detection signal of the detector causes the cylinder 3
The supply of the compressed air to the B chamber 3 is stopped, and the cylinder 33 is stopped.
There is no pushing force. Further, since the compressed air is constantly supplied to the C chamber of the cylinder 37, the rod of the cylinder 37 pushes up the auxiliary arm 31 via the stopper 39 by the pressing force of the cylinder 37 to raise the bearing 5 and the roll 1. . At this time, the gap S between the upper surface of the single plate P and the peripheral surface of the roll 1 is preferably about 1 millimeter, and the adjustment is performed by the stopper 39. At this time, if the supply to the chamber A is performed simultaneously with the stop of the supply of the cylinder 33 to the chamber B, the cylinder 3
3 can be quickly eliminated, and the operation by the cylinder 37 can be performed smoothly.

After the time required to cut the single plate P by the delay circuit has elapsed, a signal is issued from the controller,
By operating the valve V1, the supply of the compressed air to the B chamber of the cylinder 33 is stopped. As a result, the downward pressing force of the cylinder 33 is eliminated, and the upward pressing force of the cylinder 37 causes the roll 1 to slightly rise above the upper surface of the single plate P (see FIG. 12). By repeating the above operation, the continuous veneer is sequentially cut to a fixed size. The control will be described in detail again with reference to the flowchart of FIG. In FIG. 13, the front conveyor 9 is driven, and the driving of the rolls 1, 3 and the driving of the conveyors 19, 21 are started.
When the veneer is detected by the detector 23, the cutting blade 11 is rotated upward,
When the veneer is detected by the detector 25, the cutting blade 11 is rotated downward, and the roll 1 is lowered by either veneer detection of the detectors 23 and 25 to cut the veneer. When the time set by the descent timer elapses, roll 1
And the holding of the veneer is released. Unless the operation is finished, return to the veneer detection step by the detector,
The cutting is sequentially performed by repeating the above steps. In this embodiment, the diameters of the rolls 1 and 3 are 150 mm, the distance between the peripheral surfaces of the rolls at the time of holding and releasing the veneer is the thickness of the veneer + 1 mm, the transport speed is 120 mm / m, and the timer is used. Is 0.05 seconds.

In the above construction, the veneer P is pinched by the pair of rolls 1 and 3 at the time of cutting, and the pinching is released after the cutting is completed. Therefore, the veneer does not meander, and the meander of the veneered veneer does not increase. The meandering correction by the meandering correction device can also be easily performed.
Further, the normal release of the clamp, that is, a short rise of the stroke, is performed by the cylinder 37, and the release of the non-normal clamp, that is, the long rise of the stroke due to the cleaning of the roll or trouble is performed by the cylinder 33. Therefore, when cutting the veneer P, so-called ordinary pinching, the time required for lowering the roll 1 can be short, and the responsiveness is high. On the other hand, even if two or three veneers P are loaded in a stack, the stroke of the cylinder 33 is long.
Is raised, that is, the thickness of the laminated veneer is
3, and there is almost no trouble such as clogging.

In the above embodiment, when releasing the sandwiched state of the single plate P, the supply of the compressed air to the chamber B of the cylinder 33 is stopped, but the compressed air is supplied to both the chambers A and B. They may be sent at the same time. In the above embodiment, when the veneer A is sandwiched, the compressed air in the chamber C of the cylinder 37 remains unchanged, but the compressed air in the chamber C may be discharged. However, in this case, when releasing the sandwiched state of the veneer P, it is necessary to supply compressed air to the chamber C again.
