り、洗髪除去性が悪くなる(洗髪による除去が十分でな
く、毛髪上に残る)など、製品として良好な品質を得る
ことが難しかった。一方、毛髪のごわつきやヘアアレン
ジのし易さ、洗髪除去性の良さ等を得るために毛髪固定
用ポリマーの配合量を少なく抑えた場合には、セット効
果の面で満足のいくものが得られず、整髪料として十分
な品質を得ることが難しかった。また、毛髪にしなやか
さ、ツヤ等を付与する目的で油剤を加えた場合、セット
力が低下する傾向があるため油剤の配合量を増やすこと
が難しく、従ってセット力を要求される整髪料において
毛髪のしなやかさやツヤの付与を油剤で行うことは難し
かった。そこで、高い毛髪セット効果を有しながら、こ
れを損なうことなく、毛髪にしなやかさ、ツヤを付与
し、かつ、洗髪時に除去し易く、毛髪上に残りにくい整
