Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the reading error, and to rapidly and correctly perform the measurement, by measuring the characteristic of a manual level guage, and detecting the maintenance of the accuracy. SOLUTION: An actuating signal from a computer 4 is supplied to a level guage 3 through an audio analizer 2 as a standard, and the computer 4 is operated in such manner that the runout of a meter of the level guage 3 is fitted to a standard value. In a case when an oscillator part is installed, the output level of the same is supplied to the analyzer 2, and a decoding signal is sent from the computer 4, to read the measured value. Further a frequency is read by utilizing a counter 1 as a standard. On this occasion, the condition of the accuracy has been input in the computer 4 in advance, so that whether the characteristic is good or not, can be judged. Thereby a level guage 3 out of specification can be detected, the reading error of the data can be reduced, and the characteristic can be rapidly and correcting measured.
