- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも1種の巨孔性の、官能基で官能化されたポリ(スチレンジビニ ルベンゼン)粒子であって、前記官能基が、本質的に、SO3H、COOH、N+ (R)3(式中、前記R基は独立に、1〜4の炭素数のアルキル基である。)お よびN(R1)2(式中、各R1は独立に水素、1〜4の炭素数のアルキルまたは アルカノール基である。)からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種のイオン性基 からなり、前記官能基が共有結合しており、前記官能化された粒子が有機アナラ イトに対して収着能を有し、前記官能基が官能化されたポリ(スチレンジビニル ベンゼン)粒子1グラム当たりに0.1〜2.5ミリ当量の範囲で存在し、ここ で、前記アナライトが、この規定した濃度範囲外の同様の官能化されたポリ(ス チレンジビニルベンゼン)に対する同アナライトの容量ファクター(k’)と比 較して、規定した範囲内で官能化されたポリ(スチレンジビニルベンゼン)に対 して最大の容量ファクター(k’)を示す、巨孔性の官能化されたポリ(スチレ ンジビニルベンゼン)。 2.前記官能基がスルホン酸基(HSO3)である、請求の範囲1記載の粒子 。 3.前記官能基がカルボン酸基(COOH)である、請求の範囲1記載の粒子 。 4.前記官能基が、第四級アンモニウム基N+(R)3(式中、各Rは独立に、 C1〜C4アルケニル基である。)およびアミノ化された基N(R1)2(式中、各 R1は独立に、水素、1〜4の炭素数のアルキル基、および1〜4の炭素数のア ルカノール基からなる群より選ばれたものである)のうちの少なくとも1種であ る、請求の範囲1記載の粒子。 5.前記アナライトがフェノール、アルコール、ケトン、エーテルおよびエス テルからなる群より選ばれた、請求の範囲1〜4のいずれか1項記載の粒子。 6.前記アナライトが爆薬残留物、殺虫剤および薬物からなる群より選ばれた 、請求の範囲1〜5のいずれか1項記載の粒子。 7.請求の範囲1〜6のいずれか1項記載の粒子を含む、粒子を充填した充填 カラムまたは充填床。 8.少なくとも1種の官能基で官能化されたポリ(スチレンジビニルベンゼン )を使用してアナライトの容量ファクター(k’)を最適化する方法であって、 前記方法は、 請求の範囲1〜6のいずれか1項記載の巨孔性のポリ(スチレンジビニルベンゼ ン)粒子を用意する工程を含み、前記方法が、前記アナライトを前記粒子に結合 させるために十分な時間および温度で、前記濃度範囲で前記官能基を含む前記官 能化された粒子に前記アナライトを接触させる工程を更に含み、前記方法が、溶 離により前記粒子から前記アナライトを濃縮された形態で単離する工程および前 記粒子を再生する工程を更に含む、方法。 9.(a)繊維マトリックス、および、 (b)(1)請求の範囲1〜6のいずれか1項記載の20重量%より多量で10 0重量%までの官能化された巨孔性のポリ(スチレンジビニルベンゼン)粒子 (2)80重量%未満で0重量%までの、多孔性の、有機物で被覆されたまたは 被覆されていない無機粒子、 を含む前記マトリックスに網目状に絡まった収着性粒子、 を含み、ここで、繊維マトリックスに対する粒子の比が40:1〜1:4の重量 比である、 固相抽出または反応媒体。 10.前記繊維マトリックスが、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリオレフィ ン、ポリアラミド、ポリアミド、ポリウレタン、セルロース、ガラスおよびセラ ミックからなる群より選ばれた請求の範囲9記載の媒体。 11.少なくとも1種のアナライトを流体から単離するための方法であって、 請求の範囲9に記載の少なくとも1種の固相抽出媒体を通して少なくとも1種の アナライトを含む流体を通過させる工程を含み、前記方法は、必要に応じて、溶 離により前記粒子から前記アナライトを濃縮された形態で単離する工程を更に含 む、方法。
