Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.1以上のアナログ受信機を使用して1以上のシステム加入者から1以上のダ イバーシティ伝送路を介して通信信号を受信し、それらをデジタル通信信号に変 換し、 各アナログ受信機に接続された対応した組の復調モジュールに前記デジタル通 信信号を供給し、モジュールの個数は各加入者から信号が受信される各ダイバー シティ通信路に対して少なくとも1つのモジュールが利用できるように定められ ており、 前記復調モジュールのある部分において1以上の予め選択された疑似ランダム 雑音(PN)型のコードシーケンスを使用して前記各デジタル通信信号をデスプ レッドし、 前記復調モジュールの別の部分において符号化されたデータと関連したエネル ギ値を示すエネルギ計量信号に少なくとも予め選択された数の前記デスプレッド された通信信号を変換し、 加入者に予め割当てられた複数の計量受信機の少なくとも1つに対する入力と して、前記加入者に意図された信号に対応した前記結果的な各エネルギ計量信号 を伝送するステップを含んでいる通信信号内で直交符号化されたチャンネルによ って情報が通信される拡散スペクトル通信システムにおける信号受信方法。 2.前記デスプレッドは符号化されたデータシンボルを生成し、前記変換は、各 ダイバーシティ路に対して符号化されたデータシンボルを複数の直交関数変換器 の1つに伝送してシンボルエネルギ計量を生成するステップを含み、各変換器の 出力は、対応したアナログ受信機を通って動作するチャンネルに対するチャンネ ル計量を表している請求項1記載の方法。 3.さらに、多数の変換器から前記計量受信機のそれぞれの入力で受信されたシ ンボルエネルギ計量を合計して、チャンネルデータを得るために単一のチャンネ ルシンボルエネルギ計量を生成するステップを含んでいる請求項2記載の方法。 4.前記直交関数変換器は、高速アダマール変換器を含んでいる請求項2記載の 方法。 5.前記各計量受信機は、処理されるべき単一の符号化された信号チャンネルに 対応している請求項1記載の方法。 6.前記アナログ受信機は、少なくとも1つの搬送波周波数の信号を受信して、 予め定められたサンプリング速度でデジタル通信信号に前記信号を変換するよう に構成されている請求項1記載の方法。 7.前記アナログ受信機はゲートウェイ型のベースステーション内に設けられ、 少なくとも1つの衛星ベースの中継器が前記通信システム内の加入者装置から前 記アナログ受信機に前記通信チャンネル信号を伝送するために使用されている請 求項1記載の方法。 8.少なくとも2つの衛星が任意の所定の時間に前記ゲートウェイと通信してい る請求項7記載の方法。 9.前記予め選択された疑似雑音(PN)シーケンスはまた意図する受信者に送 信する前にデジタルデータ信号の同位相および直角成分を変調するために使用さ れる請求項1記載の方法。 10.さらに、受信された通信信号間の相対的な時間差およびデスプレッドにお いて使用されている前記疑似雑音シーケンスの位相を追跡し、任意の差の符号お よび大きさを示すためにタイミング調節信号を供給するステップを含んでいる請 求項9記載の方法。 11.各受信機が少なくとも1つの搬送波周波数の信号を受信して、デジタル通 信信号に前記信号を変換し、それらが出力で供給されるように構成されている拡 散スペクトル通信信号を受信するように接続された1以上のアナログ受信機と、 符号化されたデータシンボルを生成するために1以上の予め選択された疑似ラ ンダム雑音(PN)型のコードシーケンスを使用して前記各デジタル通信信号を デスプレッドし、符号化されたデータと関連したエネルギ値を示すエネルギ計量 信号に少なくとも予め選択された数の前記デスプレッド通信信号を変換し、各加 入者からその対応したアナログ受信機を通って情報が受信される各ダイバーシテ ィ通信路に適合するように構成されている前記アナログ受信機のそれぞれの出力 に接続された複数の復調手段と、 予め割当てられた単一の符号化された通信チャンネルに計量信号を供給する各 アナログ受信機と関連した前記復調モジュールの1以上のものからエネルギ計量 信号を受信するようにそれぞれ接続されている複数の計量データ受信機とを具備 しているシステム加入者によって送信された通信信号内で直交符号化された通信 チャンネルを介して情報が通信される拡散スペクトル通信システムにおける信号 受信装置。 12.前記復調手段は復調モジュールを含み、モジュールの個数は各加入者から その対応したアナログ受信機を介して情報が受信される各ダイバーシティ通信路 に対して少なくとも1つのモジュールが利用できるように定められており、 符号化されたデータシンボルを生成するデスプレッド手段と、 前記符号化されたデータシンボルを受信し、対応したアナログ受信機を通って 動作するチャンネルに対するチャンネル計量を表すシンボルエネルギ計量を生成 するために直交関数変換を実行する変換手段とをそれぞれ具備している請求項1 1記載の装置。 13.さらに、多数のモジュールから計量受信機の各入力において受信されたシ ンボルエネルギ計量を合計し、チャンネルデータを得るために単一のチャンネル シンボルエネルギ計量を生成する合計手段を含んでいる請求項12記載の装置。 14.前記変換手段は、高速アダマール変換器を含んでいる請求項12記載の装 置。 15.前記各計量受信機は、処理されるべき単一の符号化された信号チャンネル に予め割当てられている請求項11記載の装置。 16.前記アナログ受信機は、少なくとも1つの搬送波周波数の信号を受信し、 予め定められたサンプリング速度でデジタル通信信号に前記信号を変換するよう に構成されている請求項11記載の装置。 17.前記アナログ受信機はゲートウェイ型のベースステーション内に設けられ 、少なくとも1つの衛星ベースの中継器は前記通信システム内の加入者装置から 前記アナログ受信機に前記通信チャンネル信号を伝送するために使用される請求 項11記載の装置。 18.少なくとも2つの衛星が任意の所定の時間に前記ゲートウェイと通信して いる請求項17記載の装置。 19.前記予め選択された疑似雑音(PN)シーケンスはまた意図する受信者に 送信する前にデジタルデータ信号の同位相および直角成分を変調するために使用 される請求項17記載の方法。 20.前記通信システムは、遠隔地ユーザーが複数のセル内に配置され、コード 分割多重アクセス(CDMA)拡散スペクトル型の通信信号を使用して少なくと も1つのゲートウェイに情報信号を送る無線電話/データ通信システムを含んで いる請求項11記載の装置。 21.前記モジュールの個数は、受信機によってサービスを提供されるべき加入 者の予め定められた最大数と、各加入者に対して信号が受信される信号路の予測 される最大数との積に等しい請求項1記載の方法。 22.前記復調手段の個数は、受信機によってサービスを提供されるべき加入者 の予め定められた最大数と、各加入者に対して信号が受信される信号路の予測さ れる最大数との積に等しい請求項11記載の装置。
