Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1) 流路と、前記流路に沿って該流路の入口と出口との間を流れる流体を濾過 するために前記流路を横切って取り付けられた複数のフィルタ要素と、前記フィ ルタ要素を通過する流体の流れを、流体が少なくとも1個の別の前記フィルタ要 素を通って前記流路を前記入口と出口との間で流れる間に、反転させるためのバ ックウォッシング手段と、捕捉した全ての微生物を死滅させるように前記フィル タ要素の表面を照射するための放射手段とを備え、前記バックウォッシング手段 が、連続的に各フィルタ要素を通過する流体の流れを、流体が少なくとも1個の 他の前記フィルタ要素の中を前記流路に沿って前記入口と出口との間で流れる間 に、反転させるようになっていることを特徴とする流体処理装置。 2) 前記流路において隣接するフィルタ要素を通過する流体の流れを反転させ る間所定の最小の遅れ時間が生じるようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1 記載の流体処理装置。 3) 前記フィルタ要素がチタンのメッシュからなることを特徴とする請求項1 又は2記載の流体処理装置。 4) 前記フィルタ要素が、前記放射手段から照射する放射線を透過させる繊維 性材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の流体処理装置。 5) 前記繊維性材料がPIFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)であることを 特徴とする請求項4記載の流体処理装置。 6) 前記放射手段が紫外光源からなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいず れか記載の流体処理装置。 7) 前記光源が波長245〜265nmの紫外光を放射することを特徴とする 請求項6記載の流体処理装置。 8) 前記光源が波長253.7nmの紫外光を放射することを特徴とする請求 項7記載の流体処理装置。 9) 前記流路が、各フィルタ要素により長手方向に延長する2つの部分にそれ ぞれ分割された1対のチャンバからなり、前記各チャンバの各部分にそれぞれ流 体の入口及び出口ポートが設けられ、前記バックウォッシング手段が、前記ポー トに接続されたバルブと、前記各チャンバの一方の部分の入口ポートと前記各チ ャンバの他方の部分の出口ポートとを選択的に開くための制御手段とを有するこ とを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか記載の流体処理装置。 10) 前記各フィルタが前記流路内で回転可能に取り付けられ、前記バックウォ ッシング手段が、前記フィルタ180度回転させ、それにより該フィルタの中を 流体が逆向きに流れるようにするアクチュエータを有することを特徴とする請求 項1乃至9のいずれか記載の流体処理装置。
