Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.間隔のあいた行電導ライン及び列電導ラインの複数個の行及び列として配置 された電導体マトリックスを含むセンシング面,該行電導ライン及び列電導ライ ンの色々なその上にある内在キャパシタンスにより,特徴ずけられる該センシン グ面,該行及び列電導体へのオブジェクトの接近により変化する該キャパシタン スを与え, 同時に該センシング面の近くに置かれたオブジェクトがない時,該キャパシタ ンスの値に比例した第1セットのデジタル信号を該行電導ラインに発現させ, 同時に該センシング面の近くに置かれたオブジェクトがない時,該キャパシタ ンスの値に比例した第2セットのデジタル信号を各列電導ラインに発現させ, 同時に該センシング面の近くに置かれたオブジェクトがある時,該キャパシタ ンスの値に比例した第3セットのデジタル信号を該行電導ラインの各々に発現さ せ, 同時に該センシング面の近くに置かれた該オブジェクトがある時,該キャパシ タンスの値に比例した第4セットのデジタル信号を各列電導ラインに発現させ, 該第1セットのデジタル信号と該第3セットのデジタル信号との間の差の第1 加重平均を計算し, 該第2セットのデジタル信号と該第4セットのデジタル信号との間の差の第2 加重平均を計算するステップ を含んだ,2次元平面内のオブジェクト位置も代表する電気信号を与える方法 。 2.該第1,第2,第3及び第4セットのデジタル信号を同時に展開させるステ ップが, 第1既知電圧を該キャパシタンスに与え, 一定時間一定電流で該キャパシタンスを放電させ, 第1セットの結果電圧を該キャパシタンスにわたって測定し保存し, 第2既知電圧を該キャパシタンスに与え,一定時間一定電流で該キャパシタン スを充電し,第2セットの結果電圧を該キャパシタンスにわたって測定し保存し , 該第1及び第2セットの結果電圧に対応するものを平均化するステップ を含む,請求項1の方法。 3.該第1及び第2加重平均を計算するステップが, 該第1セットのデジタル信号の合計及び加重合計を計算し, 該第2セットのデジタル信号の合計及び加重合計を計算し, 該第3セットのデジタル信号の合計及び加重合計を計算し, 該第4セットのデジタル信号の合計及び加重合計を計算し, 該第3セットのデジタル信号の該加重合計から該第1セットのデジタル信号の 該加重合計を引くことにより行分子を計算し, 該第4セットのデジタル信号の該合計から該第2セットのデジタル信号の該合 計を引くことにより行分母を計算し, 行次元の該オブジェクトの位置を表わす行位置デジタル信号を取り出すため該 行分子を該行分子で割り,該第2セットのデジタル信号の該加重合計から該第2 セットのデジタル信号の該加重合計を引くことにより列分子を計算し, 該第2セットのデジタル信号の該合計から該第2セットのデジタル信号の該合 計を引くことにより列分母を計算し,そして, 列次元の該オブジェクトの位置を表わす列位置デジタル信号を取り出すため該 列分子を該列分母で割るステップ を含む,請求項1の方法。 4.該第1及び第3セットのデジタル信号の該合計と該加重合計を該第2及び第 4セットのデジタル信号の保存合計及び保存加重合計として保存し,そして, 該保存合計と該保存加重合計を該行分子及び分母及び該列分子及び分母の計算 に使い, 該2次元面での該オブジェクトのその位置を表わす電気信号を与えるために該 保存合計と保存加重合計を使う, 更なるステップを含んだ、請求項3の方法。
