Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 摩擦要素の端部の形状とほぼ一致する多孔性炭素物体を造り、炭素物体 の気孔に液体珪素を浸透させ、化学反応を引き起こして炭化珪素を形成し物体を セラミック化する、対向物体と摩擦接触する前記摩擦要素、特にブレーキまたは クラッチの製造方法であって、前記炭素物体の気孔に珪素を浸透させる前に構造 を付与して、一定の内外領域に冷却および/または強化を目的として空洞および /または窪みを形成し、セラミック化した後の空洞および/または窪みの形状と サイズを本質的に保持することを特徴とする摩擦要素の製造方法。 2. 生物体の状態にある前記多孔性炭素物体の予備生成物として硬化したポ リマーを散りばめた炭素繊維物体を造ることを特徴とする請求項第1項に記載の 製造方法。 3. 前記多孔性炭素物体および/または生物体に機械加工により窪みを造る ことを特徴とする請求項第1または第2項に記載の製造方法。 4. 前記多孔性炭素物体および/または生物体を形成する際コアを持ち込み 、コアの寸法を形成する予定の窪みおよび/または空洞と一致させることを特徴 とする請求項第1から第3項までのいずれか一つに記載の製造方法。 5. 珪素浸透の前および/または後に前記コアを除去することを特徴とする 請求項第4項に記載の製造方法。 6. 前記コアをゴム、プラスチック、金属、セラミックまたは炭素から造る ことを特徴とする請求項第5項に記載の製造方法。 7. 前記コアをスチロポールまたは硬質発泡プラスチックから造ることを特 徴とする請求項第6項に記載の製造方法。 8. 前記コアを溶媒により溶かし出すことを特徴とする請求項第7項に記載 の製造方法。 9. 熱分解性物質から成るコアを持ち込み、炭素物体を次の処理工程で熱分 解させコアを本質的に残らず除去することを特徴とする請求項第4項に記載の製 造方法。 10.前記コアをポリビニルアルコールから造ることを特徴とする請求項第9 項に記載の製造方法。 11.前記炭素物体の前記空洞および/または窪みの領域で前記空洞および/ または窪みが境界になる、予め配向が与えられている炭素繊維層を持ち込むこと を特徴とする請求項第1から第10項までのいずれか一つに記載の製造方法。 12.前記炭素繊維層を前記コアの上で形成することを特徴とする請求項第4 および第11項に記載の製造方法。 13.前記炭素物体が第1の物体を形成し、少なくとも1個の第2の物体と接 続し、前記第2の物体が摩擦要素の一部を形成することを特徴とする請求項第1 から第12項までのいずれか一つに記載の製造方法。 14.前記第2の物体が請求項第1から第12項までのいずれか一つにより造 られた第2の炭素物体であることを特徴とする請求項第13項に記載の製造方法 。 15.前記第1の物体が摩擦面を有する摩擦物体として形成されていることを 特徴とする請求項第13項または14項に記載の製造方法。 16.前記第2の物体を良好な伝熱性および/または蓄熱性を有するコア物体 として形成することを特徴とする請求項第15項に記載の製造方法。 17.前記第1と第2の物体において窪みが物体の接合面に持ち込まれた種類 のものであり、窪みが共通の空洞を補完するものであることを特徴とする請求項 第13から第16項までのいずれか一つに記載の製造方法。
