Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.神経細胞突起cDNAクローンの同定方法であって、 (a)特定の神経細胞突起中のmRNA発現を測定すること、 (b)mRNA発現の相対的レベルを比較すること、および (c)mRNA発現レベルに基づいて神経細胞突起cDNAクローンを同定す ること を含む方法。 2.mRNA発現をaRNA増幅処理によって測定する、請求項1記載の方 法。 3.ニューロンの種類を決定する方法であって、 (a)特定のニューロン中のmRNA発現を測定すること、 (b)特定ニューロン中のmRNA発現レベルを既知ニューロン中のレベルと 比較すること、および (c)mRNA発現レベルに基づいてニューロン種類を同定すること を含む方法。 4.mRNA発現をaRNA増幅処理によって測定する、請求項3記載の方 法。 5.特定神経細胞突起におけるmRNA発現をプロファイリングする方法で あって、 (a)特定の神経細胞突起の細胞体又は突起中のmRNA集団をcDNAに転 化すること、 (b)該cDNAを二重鎖にすること、 (c)該二重鎖cDNAをaRNAに線状に増幅させること、および (d)該aRNAを逆相ノーザン分析におけるプローブとして用いて、mRN A発現プロフィルを作成すること を含む方法。 6.特定神経細胞突起の細胞体又は突起中のmRNA集団をオリゴ−dT− T7プライマーを用いてcDNAに転化させる、請求項5記載の方法。 7.二重鎖cDNAをT7RNAポリメラーゼを用いてaRNAに線状に増 幅させる、請求項5記載の方法。 8.mRNA発現パターンに関連した病気を診断する方法であって、 (a)特定の病気に関連した特定の細胞におけるmRNA発現の相対的レベル を測定すること、 (b)測定された相対的レベルを確認された対照と比較すること、および (c)mRNA発現レベルの比較に基づいて、病気を診断すること を含む方法。 9.特定の細胞がニューロンである、請求項9記載の方法。 10.病気が神経精神病障害である、請求項9記載の方法。 11.病気が脆弱性X症候群である、請求項10記載の方法。 12.mRNA発現パターンに関連した病気の治療方法であって、 (a)特定の病気に関連した特定の細胞におけるmRNA発現の相対的レベル を測定すること、および (b)mRNA発現を変化させることができる有効量の作用物質によって該相 対的レベルを変化させること を含む方法。 13.特定の細胞がニューロンである、請求項12記載の方法。 14.mRNA発現を変化させることができる作用物質がアンチセンスオリ ゴヌクレオチドである、請求項9記載の方法。 15.mRNA発現を変化させることができる作用物質がドパミン、セロト ニン又はサイクリックAMPである、請求項9記載の方法。 16.配列番号:1から配列番号:28までを含むcDNAクローン。
