Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. スピネル型結晶構造を有する、一般式(I) LiyMexMn2-xO4 (I) (式中、Meは、元素周期律表のIIa族、III a族、IVa族、IIb族、III b族 、IVb族、VIb族、VII b族及びVIII族の少なくとも1種の金属カチオンを表し 、 0<x<1、好ましくは0<x<0.5であり、 0<y≦1.2である) の三元混合リチウム酸化物であって、 式(I)の当該混合酸化物を得るのに必要な反応成分を、塩基性水溶液に溶解 した水酸化物及び/又は水溶性金属塩の形態で反応させて均質な懸濁液を形成し 、ヒドロキシル化反応生成物の懸濁液から水を除去すると共に、更に除去可能な 溶剤を除去し、乾燥させた反応生成物を、500〜900℃の温度まで、1〜2 0K/分の加熱速度で加熱することによって高温処理に付し、当該混合酸化物を レントゲン撮影的に純粋な相形態で形成することによって得ることができる三元 混合リチウム酸化物。 2. Meが、元素周期律表の第4周期の遷移金属から選択される少なくとも 1種のカチオンである請求の範囲第1項記載の三元混合リチウム酸化物。 3. Meが、鉄、チタン、アルミニウム、コバルト及びニッケルから選択さ れるカチオンである請求の範囲第1項又は第2項記載の三元混合リチウム酸化物 。 4. 式(I)の当該混合酸化物を得るのに必要な反応成分を、塩基性水溶液 に溶解した水酸化物及び/又は水溶性金属塩の形態で反応させて均質な懸濁液を 形成する段階と、ヒドロキシル化反応生成物の懸濁液から水を除去すると共に、 更に除去可能な溶剤を除去する段階と、乾燥させた反応生成物を、500〜90 0℃の温度まで、1〜20K/分の加熱速度で加熱することによって高温処理に 付す段階と、当該混合酸化物をレントゲン撮影的に純粋な相形態で形成する段階 とを含む、請求の範囲第1項から第3項いずれか記載の三元混合リチウム酸化物 を製造する方法。 5. 0〜25℃、好ましくは2〜15℃、より好ましくは5〜10℃の範囲 の温度で反応を実施する請求の範囲第4項記載の方法。 6. 反応に用いる溶剤が、水もしくは水/アルコール混合物又は低分子量炭 化水素と水混和性アルコールとの混合物を含む請求の範囲第4項又は第5項記載 の方法。 7. アンモニア及び/又は水混和性アミンの添加によって塩基性溶媒の標準 化を実施する請求の範囲第4項から第6項いずれか記載の方法。 8. 反応に加わる金属カチオンMeが、錯化によって安定化された形態にあ る請求の範囲第4項から第7項いずれか記載の方法。 9.懸濁液を噴霧乾燥させることにより、水の除去と共に更に除去可能な溶剤 の除去を実施する請求の範囲第4項から第8項いずれか記載の方法。 10.噴霧乾燥を120〜200℃の温度で実施する請求の範囲第9項記載の 方法。 11.懸濁液を凍結乾燥させることにより、水の除去と共に更に除去可能な溶 剤の除去を実施する請求の範囲第4項から第8項いずれか記載の方法。 12.請求の範囲第1項から第3項いずれか記載の混合リチウム酸化物又は請 求の範囲第4項から第11項いずれか記載の方法によって得られた混合リチウム 酸化物の、二次リチウム電池におけるカソード材料としての使用。
