Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーを含むコア層、エチレン−酢酸ビ ニルコポリマーとエチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマーとのブレンドを含む2つ の外層、及び2つの接着剤層を含む熱収縮性フィルムであって、120℃での両 寸法の自由収縮率が、40%以上、好ましくは45%以上、最も好ましくは50 %以上であり、横方向の最大収縮力がその収縮温度範囲内で0.5N/cm以下 であることを特徴とする前記フィルム。 2. コア層が、実質的に、任意にポリアミドとブレンドされたエチレン−ビニ ルアルコールコポリマーからなる、請求項1に記載の熱収縮性フィルム。 3. 外層が、実質的に、エチレン−酢酸ビニルコポリマー及び1種以上のエチ レン−α−オレフィンコポリマーからなる、請求項2に記載の熱収縮性フィルム 。 4. コア層が、実質的に、エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーとポリアミ ドとのブレンドからなり、外層が、実質的に、エチレン−酢酸ビニルコポリマー 、低密度エチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマー(LLDPE)及び中密 度エチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマー(LMDPE)のブレンドからなる、請 求項3に記載の熱収縮性フィルムであって、120℃での両寸法の自由収縮率が 、45%以上、好ましくは50%以上であることを特徴とする前記フィルム。 5. 架橋されており、且つコア層が、実質的にエチレン−ビニルアルコールコ ポリマーと最大20重量%のポリアミドとのブレンドからなる、請求項4に記載 の熱収縮性フィルム。 6. 約15〜約150μの厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の 熱収縮性フィルム。 7. フィルムの厚さが、約18〜約90μ、好ましくは約18〜約40μ、最 も好ましくは約20〜約35μである、請求項6に記載の熱収縮性フィルム。 8. エチレン−ビニルアルコールコポリマーを含むコア層、エチレン−酢酸ビ ニルコポリマーとエチレン−α−オレフィンコポリマーのブレンドを含む2つの 外層、及び2つの接着剤層を含む熱収縮性フィルムの横収縮力を、120℃での フィルムの自由収縮%に実質的に影響を与えないようにしながら、その収縮温度 範囲内で0.5N/cm以 下の値に選択的に低下させる方法であって、公知の押出・延伸工程により得られ 、0.5N/cmを超える横収縮力を有するフィルムを、フィルムの最大横収縮 力を120℃でのフィルムの自由収縮率に実質的に影響を与えずに0.5N/c m以下の値に低下させるのに十分な時間、約70〜約100℃の温度に加熱し、 次いで、該フィルムを、室温以下、好ましくは約20℃以下の温度に急冷するこ とを含む前記方法。 9. 約0.1〜約7.5秒の時間フィルムを加熱する、請求項8に記載の方法 。 10. 約70〜約95℃の範囲、好ましくは約72〜約90℃の範囲の温度で フィルムを加熱する、請求項8に記載の方法。 11. トレイのような変形し得る物品を変形させずに包装してタイトな包装品 を得る方法であって、場合によってガスフラッシング下に変形し得る物品を請求 項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルムで作製した適当なサイズのエンベロ ープで包み、該エンベロープから過剰なガスを除去し、該エンベロープの開放端 部を封止し、ゆるい包装品を140〜160℃の温度に設定した熱風トンネルに 通し て、タイトな包装品を得ることを含む前記方法。 12. 請求項11に記載の方法で得られた包装品。
