Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.雄型リュアとともに使用するための医療用連結サイトであって、 第1および第2端部を有するとともに、これら第1および第2端部の間に延在 する長さ方向軸を画成する弾性的なバルブ体と; 雄型リュアの端部を受容するために前記第1および第2端部の間に画成された キャビティと; 前記第1端部を閉塞するよう前記キャビティを横切って延在する閉塞体であっ て、雄型リュアと係合するために前記長さ方向軸に対して実質的に垂直な平面内 に位置する露出面、および、雄型リュアが前記連結サイトに対して連結されてい ないときに前記キャビティをシールするために閉塞されている非連結状態をなす 第1状態と雄型リュアが端部を前記キャビティ内に位置させて前記連結サイトに 対して連結されているときに前記閉塞体を通して雄型リュアを受容するために開 放されている連結状態をなす第2状態とを有する開口を有する閉塞体と; を具備し、 前記露出面は、該露出面上に、雄型リュアが前記バルブ体と係合したときの摩 擦を低減させるための所定の表面粗さを画成する表面構造を有していることを特 徴とする医療用連結サイト。 2.前記露出面は、前記表面構造を形成するための複数の丘および谷を有してい ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の連結サイト。 3.前記谷内に配置された潤滑性物質を備え、 前記丘は、前記ダイヤフラムの拭取時に前記露出面から前記潤滑性物質が除去 されるのを防止していることを特徴とする請求項2記載の連結サイト。 4.前記丘は、前記露出面の公称表面から変位した微小接触領域を画成し、これ により、雄型リュアとの接触面積が前記公称表面により形成される面積よりも小 さいものとされていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の連結サイト。 5.前記閉塞体には、前記第1端部において、前記閉塞体を貫通して雄型リュア を受容するための開口が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の連結サ イト。 6.前記バルブ体を保持するための管状ハウジングを具備することを特徴とする 請求項5記載の連結サイト。 7.前記管状ハウジングは、前記バルブ体の前記第1端部の部分を超えて前記開 口に向けて径方向内方に張り出すフランジを備えていることを特徴とする請求項 6記載の連結サイト。 8.前記所定の表面粗さは、前記表面構造をもたらすために、約16マイクロイ ンチよりも大きな粗さ高さ値を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の連結 サイト。 9.前記粗さ高さ値は、180マイクロインチの程度であることを特徴とする請 求項8記載の連結サイト。 10.雄型リュアとともに使用するための医療用連結サイトであって、 第1および第2バルブ体端部を形成する管状バルブボディ、および、前記第1 バルブ体端部を横切って延在するダイヤフラムを有する弾性的なバルブ体であっ て、この場合、前記バルブボディは、前記ダイヤフラムと前記第2バルブ体端部 との間に、前記ダイヤフラムを通して挿入された雄型リュアの端部を受容し得る キャビティを形成する実質的に円筒状の内壁を有しているような、弾性的なバル ブ体と; 前記バルブ体を囲んでいる実質的に円筒状の外壁を有するとともに、前記ダイ ヤフラムに隣接させて挿入端を有する管状ハウジングと; 前記挿入端において前記外壁から径方向内方に張り出すとともに前記第1バル ブ体端部を横切って張り出したフランジであって、雄型リュアの端部が前記ダイ ヤフラムを通して前記キャビティ内に挿入されたときに、前記雄型リュアの径方 向外面に対してロック摩擦係合的に接触可能であるよう、前記外壁から径方向内 方に配置されたロック端を画成するフランジと; を具備していることを特徴とする医療用連結サイト。 11.前記内壁は、前記バルブボディの内径を形成し、 前記ロック端は、前記内径よりも小さな径を形成していることを特徴とする請 求項10記載の連結サイト。 12.前記ダイヤフラムは、内表面を有し、 該内表面は、前記円筒状内壁に対して鋭角でもって交差していることを特徴と する請求項11記載の連結サイト。 13.前記ダイヤフラムは、前記リュア受容キャビティから遠い側に露出面を有 し、 前記ロック端は、前記露出面に対して実質的に垂直に延在していることを特徴 とする請求項10記載の連結サイト。 14.前記バルブボディは、円筒状内壁を有し、 前記ダイヤフラムは、前記リュア受容キャビティを向く内表面を有するととも に、前記円筒状内壁から前記ダイヤフラムの前記内表面へと互いに向けて径方向 内方に延在する一対の付勢リブを有し、 これらリブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムを通して雄型リュアが挿入された際に 前記リブにフレキシブルさをもたらすヒンジ点を有していることを特徴とする請 求項10記載の連結サイト。 15.前記リブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムの中央部に隣接させて厚肉端を有し 、かつ、前記円筒状内壁に隣接させて厚肉端を有し、 前記ヒンジ点は、これら厚肉端どうしの間の薄肉部により形成されることを特 徴とする請求項14記載の連結サイト。 16.雄型リュアとともに使用するための医療用連結サイトてあって、 長さ方向軸および第1および第2バルブ体端部を形成する管状バルブボディ、 および、前記第1バルブ体端部を横切って延在するダイヤフラムを有する弾性的 なバルブ体であって、この場合、前記バルブボディは、前記ダイヤフラムと前記 第2バルブ体端部との間に、前記ダイヤフラムを通して挿入された雄型リュアを 受容し得るリュア受容キャビティを形成する実質的に円筒状の内壁を有し、前記 ダイヤフラムは、前記リュア受容キャビティを向く内表面を有しているような、 弾性的なバルブ体と; 前記ダイヤフラムに形成された開口と; 前記円筒状内壁から前記ダイヤフラムの前記内表面へと互いに向けて径方向内 方に延在する一対の付勢リブと; を具備し、 前記リブの各々は、前記内壁のところに第1端部を、かつ、前記ダイヤフラム の前記開口のところに第2端部を有し、 前記リブの前記第1端部は、前記長さ方向軸に平行な長さ方向に測定されたと きに第1厚さを有し、前記リブの前記第2端部は、前記長さ方向に測定されたと きに第2厚さを有し、 前記リブの各々は、前記長さ方向に測定されたときに前記第1および第2厚さ よりも小さな厚さを有しているとともに、前記ダイヤフラムを通して雄型リュア が挿入された際に前記リブにフレキシブルさをもたらすよう、前記リブの前記第 1および第2端部の間において前記リブの各々に配置されたヒンジ点を有してい ることを特徴とする医療用連結サイト。 17.前記リブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムが前記リュア受容キャビティから遠 ざかって外方に移動することに対して抵抗するよう、前記開口に隣接して厚肉部 を有していることを特徴とする請求項16記載の連結サイト。 18.前記厚肉部の各々は、前記ヒンジ点から前記ダイヤフラムの前記開口に向 かう方向に、厚さが次第に増大していることを特徴とする請求項17記載の連結 サイト。 19.前記リブの各々は、前記ヒンジ点から前記円筒状内壁に向かう方向に、厚 さが次第に増大していることを特徴とする請求項16記載の連結サイト。 20.前記リブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムの中央部に隣接させて厚肉端を有し 、かつ、前記円筒状内壁に隣接させて厚肉端を有し、 前記ヒンジ点は、これら厚肉端どうしの間の薄肉部により形成されることを特 徴とする請求項16記載の連結サイト。 21.前記リブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記内表面から実質的に垂直に延 在する一対の反対側を向く側壁により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1 6記載の連結サイト。 22.前記リブの各々は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記内表面から実質的に垂直に延 在する対向面を有し、 これら対向面どうしは、互いに係合可能な対向関係に配置されていることを特 徴とする請求項16記載の連結サイト。 23.前記リブの各々は、前記リブのそれぞれの対向面に隣接させて一対の反対 側を向く側壁を有し、 該側壁は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記内表面から実質的に垂直に延在しているこ とを特徴とする請求項22記載の連結サイト。 24.雄型リュアとともに使用するための医療用連結サイトであって、 第1および第2バルブ体端部を形成する管状バルブボディ、および、前記第1 バルブ体端部を横切って延在するダイヤフラムを有する弾性的なバルブ体を具備 し、 前記バルブボディは、前記ダイヤフラムと前記第2バルブ体端部との間に、前 記ダイヤフラムを通して挿入された雄型リュアを受容し得るリュア受容キャビテ ィを形成する円筒状内壁を有し、 前記バルブボディは、さらに、内壁との間においてバルブボディの壁厚を規定 する外壁を有し、 前記外壁は、前記第1バルブ体端部から前記第2バルブ体端部に向かう方向に 外方に傾斜する外方テーパ部を形成し、これにより、前記バルブボディの壁厚が 、前記第1バルブ体端部から前記第2バルブ体端部に向かう前記方向に次第に増 加することを特徴とする医療用連結サイト。 25.前記外壁は、前記第1バルブ体端部に隣接した位置から、前記第2バルブ 体端部に向かう方向に、前記外方テーパ部との境界位置にまで、延在する実質的 な円筒部を有していることを特徴とする請求項24記載の連結サイト。 26.前記バルブ体を囲む管状ハウジングを具備し、 該ハウジングは、外方に傾斜しかつ前記バルブ体の前記外方テーパ部に係合す る内壁部を有していることを特徴とする請求項24記載の連結サイト。 27.前記管状ハウジングは、標準的なリュアロックカラーの内壁に対してロッ ク摩擦係合可能に、外方に傾斜する外壁を有していることを特徴とする請求項2 6記載の連結サイト。 28.ベース、および、前記バルブ体から径方向外方に延在するフランジを具備 し、 前記フランジは、前記ハウジングと前記ベースとの間に保持されることを特徴 とする請求項26記載の連結サイト。
