Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recover floating oil, scum and the like in a liquid layer. SOLUTION: In a liquid layer in which scum and solid impurities such as miscellaneous matter are mixed in oil and which float, a recovery part 4 equipped with an inflow port 3 for recovering oil and solid impurities is installed, and to the recovery part 4, floats 8 for holding the inflow port 3 near the surface of the liquid are fitted. The inflow port 3 is formed of plural oblong holes 3a derived radially from the central part, and the rear ends of the oblong holes are connected with each other. And at a position facing the inflow port 3, a raking blade moving along the surface of the liquid is installed, and furthermore. Between the adjacent sides of the oblong holes, V-shaped engagement pieces 14 are provided.
