As the pulp, a pulp using a vegetable fiber represented by a wood fiber as a raw material is usually used. Flexibility,
In order to maintain the quality of water absorption and bulkiness, it is most preferable to make the raw pulp in an unbeaten state, but if it is made in an unbeaten state, it is difficult to maintain the necessary minimum strength. . Therefore, hitting has conventionally been performed using a hitting machine such as a refiner or a beater. The beating causes external fibrillation and internal fibrillation of the fibers, which increases the contact between the fibers and improves the strength. However, while beaten increases the strength, there is a problem that important properties such as flexibility, water absorption and bulkiness for sanitary paper are impaired. In addition, the fiber is inevitably cut by beating, and fine fibers are generated. The problem that the amount of paper powder increases by this fine fiber arises.

It is intended to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art as described above, and the purpose is to use vegetable fibers used for sanitary tissue papermaking, i.e., wood pulp, non-wood pulp, and waste paper alone or these. An enzyme that decomposes cellulose, which is a main component of vegetable fiber, is added to a pulp slurry composed of a mixture of the above, and after stirring for a certain period of time, diluted without passing through a beater such as a beater or a refiner, and a single layer or It is achieved by drying the paper by using a paper machine such as a usual long net, round net or twin wire having a multi-layer head box, and inactivating the cellulolytic enzyme by the calorific value at that time. The sanitary thin paper thus obtained has the same flexibility, water absorbency and bulkiness as those from unbeaten pulp, and the strength is superior to that from unbeaten pulp, and the fiber is cut by beating. Because there is no paper, the amount of paper is small, and there is no problem of dehydration on the wire. According to observation with an optical microscope, almost no change in the appearance of the fiber is observed, and it is described that the internal fibrillation mainly proceeds and the flexibility of the fiber is considered to be increased.

There is a disadvantage that it takes as long as three hours.

That is, the present invention relates to a sanitary paper mainly comprising pulp composed of unbeaten or extremely lightly beaten vegetable fibers, and further containing swellable cellulose, preferably bacterial cellulose, and a wet strength agent. In the sanitary paper of the present invention, the pulp can be softened by containing swellable cellulose, preferably bacterial cellulose, without beating the pulp with various beating machines, or by beating the pulp extremely lightly. An object of the present invention is to provide various types of sanitary papers having appropriate dry strength, wet strength and absorptivity while maintaining the properties. In addition, extremely lightly beaten pulp referred to in the present invention is, apparently,
It refers to the beating to the extent that fibrils are not recognized, and specifically refers to the state in which the state of pulp fibers in the sheet after papermaking and drying is observed with a scanning electron microscope, and almost no fibrils are recognized. If you give a specific example of operating conditions,
A pulp obtained by passing a pulp slurry disintegrated by a disintegrator such as a pulper through a beating machine such as a double disc refiner under no load or an extremely weak load.

In order to maintain the quality of flexibility, water absorption and bulkiness, it is most preferable to make the raw pulp into a fibrous form, that is, to make paper in an unbeaten state. In addition, beating is performed because it is difficult to maintain a necessary minimum strength, which is one of the quality characteristics. Beating has the serious drawback of increasing strength but at the same time impairing properties important for sanitary paper such as flexibility, water absorption and bulkiness. In addition, in an unbeaten state, a suitable water retention property on the wire cannot be obtained, which causes a problem in papermaking.

Usually, pulp used for sanitary paper is made by appropriately beaten fibers produced by woody plants and herbs. Since almost all of the swellable cellulose and preferably bacterial cellulose used in the present invention are fibrils, they may be simply added to the pulp slurry, and the cellulose-degrading enzyme described in JP-A-5-148794 described above may be used. No processing time is required as when used. In particular, the fibril width of bacterial cellulose is extremely thin, 0.5 μm or less, and since all are fibrils, entanglement with pulp fibers, fine fibers, etc. is extremely good, and unbeaten pulp or extremely lightly beaten Even when paper is made using pulp subjected to, that a suitable water retention is maintained on the wire,
Sufficiently disintegrated bacterial cellulose retains its own strength, so it retains the flexibility of unbeaten pulp or extremely lightly beaten pulp, and has the appropriate strength and absorption as sanitary paper It is considered that the property can be obtained.

However, when a wet paper strength enhancer is added thereto, the wet strength is specifically improved with a small amount without impairing the flexibility.

For example, woody pulp such as hardwood and conifer, herbaceous pulp such as flax and hemp, and a mixture thereof. In addition, various synthetic pulp used for menstrual paper, diaper paper and the like can be used. If necessary, recycled pulp from waste paper can also be used. Further, although not a pulp, a water-absorbing polymer used for sanitary paper, diaper paper and the like can be used together with the above various pulp together with swellable cellulose, preferably bacterial cellulose. That is, the sanitary paper in the present invention is not limited to the use of only the sanitary paper, but is effectively used as a material for various sanitary papers.

In the present invention, the epoxidized polyamide polyamine-based resin,
It is used particularly effectively. The amount used is generally difficult to determine depending on the quality required for sanitary paper, but is usually 0.01 to 0.2%, preferably 0.05 to 0.1%, as an active ingredient relative to pulp. It works well with a small amount of use. In general, for unbeaten pulp or pulp that has been beaten very lightly, epoxidized polyamide polyamine-based resin is difficult to function well as a wet paper strength enhancer. In the system of beaten pulp and swellable cellulose, preferably bacterial cellulose, it is particularly effective.

化がみられた。<Evaluation> From the results shown in Table 1, the unbeaten pulp,
In the system of aeration-stirred bacterial cellulose and the wet strength agent, Examples 1 to 8 gave good results in both flexibility, dry tensile strength and wet tensile strength. Especially,
In Examples 2 to 5, excellent results with good balance were obtained over all three properties of flexibility, dry tensile strength and wet tensile strength. Further, in Example 9 in which statically cultured bacterial cellulose was used instead of aerated and stirred bacterial cellulose, the same good results as in the aerated and stirred bacterial cellulose of Example 4 were obtained. In Example 10 using extremely lightly beaten pulp (30 ml lower than the Canadian standard freeness of unbeaten pulp), there is a tendency for the flexibility to be slightly reduced as compared with Example 4. However, other characteristics were good. In Example 11 using fine fibrous cellulose instead of bacterial cellulose, the dry tensile strength and wet tensile strength tended to be inferior to those of Example 4, but this was not a problem in practical use. . Example 12 using a melamine / formaldehyde resin and a sulfate band instead of the epoxidized polyamide polyamine resin
In comparison with Example 4, there was a tendency that the flexibility and the wet tensile strength were inferior to those of Example 4, but this was a practically acceptable degree. On the other hand, in the system using unbeaten pulp and not using bacterial cellulose, the wet tensile strength was extremely poor regardless of the presence or absence of the wet strength agent (Comparative Examples 1 and 2). In Comparative Example 3 in which the wet paper strength enhancer was removed from Example 4, the wet tensile strength was extremely poor as in Comparative Examples 1 and 2. The results clearly show that the system of unbeaten pulp, bacterial cellulose and wet strength agent is extremely effective specifically for wet tensile strength. In addition, the system obtained by adding a wet paper strength enhancer to pulp that had been beaten very slightly and excluding bacterial cellulose (Comparative Example 4) had poor dry tensile strength. Also,
In a system in which a wet pulp was added to a beaten pulp (80 ml lower than the Canadian standard freeness of unbeaten pulp) with or without bacterial cellulose, both had poor flexibility, It was not preferable for practical use (Comparative Examples 5 and 6). In Example 8, as compared with Example 7, not only the characteristic value was not improved, but also the drainage was slightly deteriorated.
