Plastic containers such as containers made by pressing foamed polystyrene sheets, containers made by molding foamed polystyrene beads, and containers made using polyvinyl chloride sheets and foams are easy to manufacture. It has been widely used because of its characteristics, mass production, economical efficiency, and so on. However, plastic containers have various problems, such as the generation of harmful gases when incinerated after their use, the generation of high heat during incineration, shortening the life of the incinerator, and remaining undecomposed even when landfilled. In recent years, the processing of used plastic has become a major social problem.

For example, egg packaging containers and fruit packaging containers have been used. Pulp containers are actually used. However, in general, natural pulp paper has almost no stretchability. Therefore, if press forming or drawing is performed after the paper is manufactured, the paper breaks and the container cannot be manufactured smoothly. Therefore, when manufacturing a container made of paper (made of natural pulp), a mesh having a depression matching the outer shape of the intended container (for example, a mesh having a concave portion matching the outer shape of an egg) is prepared. Generally, a method of manufacturing (molding) a paper container by wet-making a papermaking raw material including pulp using the mesh pattern, followed by drying. However, the above-mentioned wet molding method requires time and labor in the production of paper containers, resulting in extremely low productivity, which is one reason that the paper containers are not widely used.

2. Description of the Related Art Hot press molding is performed using a sheet having two-dimensional wrinkles obtained by papermaking a raw material containing 100 to 100% and a natural pulp at a ratio of 95 to 0%. However, sheets with wrinkles made of synthetic pulp such as polyethylene or polypropylene are not sufficiently stretchable during hot press molding, and produce deep drawn molded products with a depth of 50 mm and complex irregularities. In such a case, a hole or tear is generated at a corner or the like of the molded product, and a deep drawn molded product cannot be manufactured smoothly.

Although the paper material is formed with corrugated irregularities to give a stretch allowance to the paper material during hot press molding, the formation of the corrugated irregularities alone does not provide sufficient stretchability of the paper material during hot press molding.
Therefore, in practice, a method has been adopted in which a paper material provided with corrugations at the time of hot press molding is moistened to increase its elongation and then hot press molding is performed. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a process of rewetting the paper material obtained by drying after wet papermaking, which is complicated in the process. After the hot press molding, the wet paper material needs to be dried, and as a result, extra heat and labor are required. Moreover, in the conventional method of (2), the above-described formation of the wavy irregularities is performed while heating the paper material obtained by drying after wet papermaking, so that the formation of the wavy irregularities is performed. Requires extra steps and heating.

Since press forming is performed after the wrinkles are applied, a process of humidifying the base paper is required, and the process becomes complicated.
In addition, since the humidified laminate of base paper is hot-pressed, it must be dried during or after hot-pressing, which results in reduced productivity and high cost in terms of process and thermal efficiency. Inviting. In addition, in the case of the conventional method (3), since the base paper portion is basically made of only natural pulp, it can be said that wrinkles are provided, but the stretchability during hot press molding is sufficient. It is practically difficult to produce a deep-drawn molded product having a depth as high as 50 mm, which is not high, without breaking.

Moreover, since the paper material used in the prior art of (4) is manufactured using synthetic fibers made of polyethylene or polypropylene, as in the conventional method of (1), the stretchability during press molding is increased. However, it is not sufficient, and it is not possible to smoothly manufacture a deep drawn molded product having a depth of 50 mm and having complicated irregularities without breaking or the like.

The paper substrate actually manufactured by the prior art (5) is a paper substrate composed of only wood pulp. In addition, in the prior art of (5), since the heat-resistant layer having extremely small elongation is formed on the surface of the paper substrate, the stretchability of the entire laminate is extremely small, and therefore, the depth reaches 50 mm, and complicated unevenness is formed. It is not possible to produce a deep-drawn molded product smoothly without breaking or the like.

The prior art is used when pressing and manufacturing a flat plate-like body such as a synthetic resin laminated decorative board or an electrical insulating board, and interposed between a flat press board and a flat material to be pressed. Since the present invention relates to a cushion material and does not per se relate to a press-formed paper used for a press-formed product having a squeeze, no consideration is given to stretchability during press-forming. In addition, in the prior art of (6), natural pulp is not used, and from this point, an attempt to manufacture a molded article such as a container by press molding using natural pulp is the technical content. As can be seen, various processes have been conventionally performed, but the process is simple, with good thermal efficiency, and does not cause breakage of the paper during press forming.

As a result, when a press-formed paper is produced using natural pulp and a thermoplastic polymer fiber having a heat-adhesive property and a specific elongation at a press forming temperature in a specific ratio, the resulting paper is as follows. It has very good stretchability and good strength at the time of press molding, and it does not break even when pressed as it is in a dry state, for example, a depth such as 50 mm in depth and having complex irregularities It has been found that a drawn molded product can be manufactured smoothly. In addition, in performing press molding using the paper, the present inventors may perform press molding using only one sheet of paper, but perform press molding in a state where two or more sheets of paper are stacked. The present inventors have found that forming a molded product by the above method makes it possible to produce the above-described deep-drawn molded product more smoothly, and completed the present invention based on those findings.

The press-formed paper of the present invention is mainly composed of natural pulp and thermoplastic polymer fibers. In this case, the type of natural pulp is not particularly limited, and any natural pulp can be used. Examples of the natural pulp used in the press-formed paper of the present invention include hardwood wood pulp, softwood wood pulp, esparto pulp, Manila hemp pulp,
Sisal pulp, linter pulp and the like can be mentioned. The natural pulp may be subjected to a treatment such as mercerization. The above-mentioned natural pulp may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Further, the natural pulp may be virgin pulp, used waste paper pulp, or a combination of virgin pulp and waste paper pulp. When waste paper pulp is used, for example, those having a long fiber length obtained from milk packs, diaper waste materials, wrapping paper and the like are preferably used. From the point that paper tearing is less likely to occur during press molding,
The natural pulp used for the press-formed paper preferably has a fiber length of about 1 mm or more, more preferably about 1.5 to 6 mm, and further preferably about 2 to 3 mm.

The use of thermoplastic polymer fibers that do not have thermal adhesion at the press forming temperature allows the resulting paper to be bonded to natural pulp and to be bonded to the natural pulp and thermoplastic resin, even if pressed under heating. Bonding with the united fiber, since the bonding between the thermoplastic polymer fibers is not performed by the thermoplastic polymer fiber, it is not possible to impart strength or stretchability that can withstand press molding to paper, and a molded product with a draw, particularly A deep drawn molded product having a depth of 50 mm and having complex irregularities cannot be manufactured smoothly without breakage or the like. Here, in the present invention, “has thermal adhesiveness at press molding temperature”
Means that at the heating temperature during press molding, the thermoplastic polymer fibers soften or melt and adhere to the natural pulp, and the thermoplastic polymer fibers adhere to each other to form natural pulp or thermoplastic polymer that constitutes paper It means joining between the fibers and improving the stretchability and strength of the paper.

It needs to be 70%, and preferably 30% to 60%. If a thermoplastic polymer fiber having a fiber elongation outside the range of 20 to 70% is used, the press-formed paper does not have sufficient stretchability and strength to withstand the press-forming, and the paper breaks at the time of press-forming to form. A product, especially a deep drawn product cannot be manufactured smoothly. In particular, when the fiber elongation of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is less than 20%, the molded article is likely to be torn at corners and the like, while the fiber elongation is 70%.

When the core-sheath type conjugate fiber is composed of a core made of a thermoplastic polymer having a high melting point, the sheath having a low melting point is softened or melted by heat at the time of press molding to join the natural pulp and the natural pulp. Bonding with thermoplastic polymer fibers, high stretchability and strength that can withstand deep drawing etc. are imparted to press-formed paper by providing bonding between thermoplastic polymer fibers, and are softened or softened by heat during press forming. The high melting point core that does not melt retains the fiber strength and imparts higher strength and stiffness to the press-formed paper, so that a press-formed paper having more excellent press-formability can be obtained. In preferred. In this case, the ratio of the sheath part to the core part in the core-sheath type conjugate fiber is generally set to about 30:70 to 70:30 by weight, from the viewpoint of obtaining press-formed paper excellent in press formability. In order to improve the balance with natural pulp so that the natural pulp and thermoplastic polymer fibers are evenly dispersed during papermaking, it also provides strength to press-formed paper and has good adhesive action during press-forming. In order to achieve the above, the single fiber fineness of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is preferably about 0.5 to 5.0 denier, and more preferably about 1.0 to 3.0 denier. The single fiber fineness of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is 0.
If it is less than 5 denier, the strength of the press-formed paper is particularly reduced and tearing is likely to occur during press molding. On the other hand, if it exceeds 5.0 denier, the function of the thermoplastic polymer fiber as an adhesive decreases. Bonding of natural pulp is not performed, and it becomes difficult to obtain paper having stretchability and strength suitable for press molding.

It is preferable to use a thermoplastic polymer fiber having a fiber length of about 1 to 20 mm,
It is more preferred to use one of about 2 to 7 mm. If the fiber length of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is less than 1 mm, it is difficult to obtain a press-formed paper having stretchability and strength that can withstand press molding, while if it exceeds 20 mm, the dispersibility of the papermaking becomes poor and the heat becomes poor. Paper in which the plastic polymer fibers are uniformly dispersed becomes difficult to obtain, and the quality of the paper tends to be non-uniform.

(Weight ratio), it is necessary to include the
It is preferable to include 70:30 (weight ratio). When the proportion of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is less than 1% by weight based on the total weight of the natural pulp and the thermoplastic polymer fiber, the adhesive function of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is not provided, and the stretchability and strength are excellent. Paper cannot be obtained and tears occur during press molding, and it is not possible to obtain a deep-drawn molded product particularly having a depth of up to 50 mm. On the other hand, if the proportion of the thermoplastic polymer fiber exceeds 50% by weight based on the total weight of the natural pulp and the thermoplastic polymer fiber, the shrinkage of the paper during press molding becomes too large, and the resulting press-formed product Is liable to become unstable, and this does not meet the object of the present invention for producing a paper container or the like using as little polymer as possible. In particular, in the press-formed paper of the present invention, the content of the thermoplastic polymer fiber is adjusted to 1 to 7 based on the total weight of the natural pulp and the thermoplastic polymer fiber.
In the case of a small amount of about% by weight, a molded article such as a container manufactured from the press-molded paper of the present invention is recovered after use, put in water or the like, and stirred, so that natural pulp can be easily recovered. You can use it again.
