上記目的を達成するために、本発明による超音波診断装置は、探触子から被検体に対して超音波を送受信して断層面を走査させる超音波送受信手段と、該走査によって得られた断層像を表示させる表示手段と、前記断層像に基づいて前記被検体の体格を計測する手段とを有した超音波診断装置において、前記表示手段に表示される前記断層像に体格の標準値を示すスケールを重ねて表示するようにしたものである。
