Various obstacles have been caused by adhesion of mussels, algae and the like. It is well known that anti-fouling paints and underwater anti-fouling coatings called fishing net anti-fouling agents are applied to the surface of seawater immersions in order to prevent fouling by such organisms. This underwater antifouling coating agent is roughly classified into the following two types (a) and (b). (A) An antifouling agent such as an organotin copolymer or cuprous oxide which has an effect of preventing adhesion to living organisms and is slightly soluble in seawater. For example, paints using an organotin compound as an antifouling agent are disclosed in JP-B-40-21426, JP-B-44-9579, and JP-B-46-133.
No. 92, Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-20481, Japanese Patent Publication No. 5
These are disclosed in, for example, JP-A-11-11647 and JP-B-52-48170. (B) A paint which does not use an antifouling agent and does not dissolve in seawater, and is typified by silicone rubber utilizing the water-repellent physical properties of the coating film surface.

Japanese Patent No. -60503 discloses an underwater antifouling coating comprising a silicone acrylic copolymer. These conventionally known underwater antifouling coating agents can be used depending on the purpose because they can exhibit the performance according to the type thereof, but all have the following disadvantages, and improvement of these is desired. It is rare.

防汚力が維持され難い問題があった。[0004] First, in the underwater antifouling coating agent (a), the organic tin group bonded to the resin is hydrolyzed in seawater, thereby depleting the coating film and maintaining the activity of the coating film surface. Further, the hydrolyzed organic tin compound also functions as an antifouling agent, so that the adhesion of marine organisms can be prevented for a long time. However, organotin compounds are highly accumulative in the environment, and their use is regulated due to concerns about environmental pollution. In addition, the underwater antifouling coating agent of the above (b) is designed to prevent the adhesion of underwater organisms to the coating surface by utilizing the slipperiness of the surface of silicone rubber or silicone acrylic resin. However, there is an advantage that there is no elution component which may cause water pollution as in the underwater antifouling coating agent (a).
Since the silicone rubber or silicone acrylic copolymer forming the coating does not show solubility in seawater, reactivation of the deteriorated coating surface after aging is inhibited, and as a result, long-term antifouling power is maintained. There was a difficult problem.

In the general formulas (1) and (5), m and q are the number of repetitions of the organosiloxy group, and can be a real number of 0 or more, but usually it is preferably up to about 1,000. Since the organosiloxy group is introduced by dehydration condensation or addition reaction, the compound A is usually a mixture of organosiloxy groups having different numbers of repetitions. Therefore, the above m and q values should be expressed as their average values (av.m) and (av.q), and the reason why they are expressed as the real numbers is also for this reason. From this viewpoint, the average values (av.m) and (av.q) are used in the examples described later. Such a compound A is easily available as a commercial product. As a synthesis example, a method of adding a polyorganosiloxane having a silane group at one or both ends to an organic acid having one double bond can be given.

For example, after applying the coating agent as a solution to the surface of the object by an appropriate means, it may be dried at room temperature or under heating to volatilize and remove the organic solvent. A film with good performance can be easily formed. Since the above-mentioned metal ester compounds used in the present invention all have an organosilyl group or an organosiloxy group derived from the compound (A), they impart a strong surface slip property to the formed film. Therefore, the coating itself has a function of physically preventing the attachment of marine organisms.

×100<Measurement of weight loss of coating and measurement of solvent resolubility of coating> Metal ester compound solutions I to VIII were applied to a transparent glass plate, dried, and the weight of the coating was measured. , And washed with fresh water every three months to remove salt in seawater. After sufficiently dried, the weight of the remaining film was measured again. And to check the uniform solubility,
The following calculation was performed to determine the dissolution uniformity value α. α = (dissolved amount in the previous period) / (dissolved amount in the previous period)
Since there was no change in the solvent-soluble content of the residual metal ester compound after 12 months using the initial composition solvent in Production Example, the soluble content of the residual metal ester compound in the initial composition solvent after 12 months was measured. . From this value, the re-dissolution rate β (%) was determined by the following equation. Re-dissolution rate β (%) = (weight of soluble portion of residual coating in initial composition solvent after 12 months) / (total weight of coating after 12 months)

The coating of each underwater antifouling coating of Example 11 had a uniform dissolution uniformity value α1 to α3 of 0.97 to 1.
In the range of 03, the uniform solubility is high, the solubility does not peak even with time, and good performance is shown. Further, the re-dissolution rate β measurement with the initial composition solvent shows that the time-dependent film is almost the same as the initial film. This indicates that hydrolysis occurred from the coating surface, and only the hydrolyzed coating surface was uniformly dissolved. On the other hand, in the silicone rubber shown in Comparative Example 1, the solubility of the film was not observed, and the resolubility by the solvent was not measured. In addition, in the coating obtained from the organotin copolymer solution shown in Comparative Example 2, the dissolution uniformity value α decreased with time, indicating that the coating became more and more difficult to dissolve. This means that the re-dissolution rate β (%) of the aged film with the initial composition solvent after 12 months is as low as 76%, so that the hydrolysis in the film precedes and the insoluble after hydrolysis on the surface of the remaining film. Ingredients remain,
This indicates that stable solubility was not obtained. As is clear from the results in Table 5, Examples 1 to 11 were very good in both storage stability and antifouling performance. On the other hand, in the silicone rubber shown in Comparative Example 1, gelation occurred in the storage stability test, and biofouling was observed after 6 months in the antifouling performance.
Two months later, the entire surface was adhered, and the result was insufficient as an underwater antifouling coating agent. In addition, the organotin copolymer solution shown in Comparative Example 2 did not gel in the storage stability test, but showed a tendency to thicken, and the antifouling performance was observed to be biofouling after 12 months. showed that.
