Description
上述の様に構成する本発明のトロイダル型無段変速機の運転時には、それぞれが上記抑え鍔部３６の外周面に開口した前記４個のノズル孔３９ａ、３９ｂの下流端開口から、トラクションオイルを噴出させる。これら各ノズル孔３９ａ、３９ｂから噴出されたトラクションオイルのうち、図２に示した２個のノズル孔３９ａ、３９ａから噴出したトラクションオイルは、前記入力側、出力側両ディスク２、４の内側面２ａ、４ａに付着してから、これら各内側面２ａ、４ａと前記各パワーローラ８、８の周面８ａ、８ａとの当接部であるトラクション部に送られる。更に、図１に示した２個のノズル孔３９ｂ、３９ｂから噴出したトラクションオイルは、上記各周面８ａ、８ａに付着してから、上記各トラクション部に送られる。この様に、これら各トラクション部へのトラクションオイルの供給を、２系統で行なう為、これら各トラクション部に十分量のトラクションオイルを供給して、大きな動力を伝達する場合にも、これら各トラクション部の冷却及び潤滑を十分に行なえる。尚、上記４個のノズル孔３９ａ、３９ｂの内径を、それぞれ異ならせ、各ノズル孔３９ａ、３９ｂから噴出するトラクションオイルの量を適正にする事もできる。
