Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 硫黄を含まず、優れた耐摩耗性を有すると共
に熱及び酸化安定性を有する合成潤滑油を提供するこ
と。 【解決手段】 合成潤滑油の主成分と、トリ(アルキル
フェニル)ホスフェート又はジ(アルキルフェニル)リ
ン酸耐摩耗剤、アミン系酸化防止剤、置換コハク酸アミ
ド防錆剤、及びトリルトリアゾールの微量成分とを含む
硫黄を含まない潤滑油組成物を提供した。トリ(アルキ
ルフェニル)ホスフェート又はジ(アルキルフェニル)
リン酸耐摩耗剤が、油中に約0.1〜2重量%の範囲、
アミン系酸化防止剤が約0.1〜5重量%の範囲の量で
取り入れられる。コハク酸アミドが、約0.01〜0.5
重量%の範囲、トリルトリアゾール が約0.01〜0.
5重量%の範囲の量で存在する。上の記載において、重

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、合成潤滑油組成物
に関する。本発明は、特に、硫黄を含まず、優れた耐摩
耗性を有すると共に熱及び酸化安定性を有する合成潤滑
油に関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】合成潤滑剤は、それらの均一性のため
に、及びそれらが望ましくない硫黄成分を含まないため
に、より多く有用性がある。ユーザーのますます厳しく
なる基準を満たすために、これらの合成潤滑油は、一般
に、無灰耐摩耗剤、 腐食防止剤、酸化防止剤などの添
加剤の添加によって改質される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】合成潤滑油に使用する
ためのリン含有耐摩耗剤が提案されているが 、それら
の使用は、特定の欠点と結び付いている。概してリン含
有耐摩耗剤は、不十分な極圧剤である。更に、それらの
熱及び酸化安定性は、不十分であり、金属腐食種及びス
ラッジを生じる。 同様に合成潤滑油に使用するための
硫黄及びリン含有耐摩耗剤が提案されており、これらの
添加剤は、十分な極圧特性を有する傾向があるが、それ
らもあまり熱安定性がなく、腐食分解生成物を生じる。
【0004】ポリオールエステルは、添加剤及びスラッ
ジ可溶化材料として合成潤滑剤中で用いられる。しかし
ながら、ポリオールエステルの増加量も分解して腐食種
を形成するように思われる。
【0005】このように、良好な耐摩耗及び極圧性、増
大した熱/酸化安定性を有する合成潤滑油組成物に対す
る需要がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明に従って、合成潤
滑油の主成分と、トリ(アルキルフェニル)ホスフェー
ト又はジ(アルキルフェニル)リン酸耐摩耗剤、アミン
系酸化防止剤、置換コハク酸アミド防錆剤、及びトリル
トリアゾールの微量成分とを含む硫黄を含まない潤滑油
組成物が提供される。
【0007】トリ(アルキルフェニル)ホスフェート又
はジ(アルキルフェニル)リン酸耐摩耗剤が、油中に約
0.1〜2重量%の範囲、アミン系酸化防止剤が約0.1
〜5重量%の範囲の量で取り入れられる。コハク酸アミ
ドが、約0.01〜0.5重量%の範囲、トリルトリアゾ
ール が約0.01〜0.5重量%の範囲の量で存在す
る。上の記載において、重量%は、油の重量を基準とし
ている。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明に有用な合成潤滑油は、動
粘度が100℃において約1.8〜約300cStであ
る何れかのポリαオレフィン又はそれらの混合物であ
る。これらの油は、 本来、硫黄、リン及び金属を含ま
ない。
【0022】ポリαオレフィンは、潤滑油範囲の炭化水
素を作り出すための1−デセン又は他のオレフィンのオ
リゴマー化によって調製される。
【0023】合成基油は、もちろん、本発明の潤滑油組
成物の主成分を含む。一般に、基油は、全組成物の約5
0〜95重量%を含む。
【0024】トリ(アルキルフェニル)ホスフェート耐
摩耗(AW)剤、アミン系酸化防止剤(AO)、コハク
酸アミド防錆剤(RI)、及びトリルトリアゾールの微

アルキル化誘導体を用いるのが特に好ましい。概して、
アミン系酸化防止剤は、油の重量に対して約0.1〜5
重量%、好ましくは約0.5〜1.5重量%の範囲の量で
存在する。
【0031】本発明の組成物には、置換コハク酸アミド
防錆剤が含まれる。このようなコハク酸アミド化合物
は、従来技術において公知である。本発明において、好
ましいコハク酸アミド化合物は、アミノ酸アミドと、ア
ルケニルコハク酸又は無水コハク酸とを反応させること
によって形成される化合物である。アミノ酸アミドの具
体例は、トリエチレンテトラミンなどのポリアミンとオ
レイン酸などのモノカルボン酸と反応させることによっ
て形成されるそれらの化合物である。具体的なアルケニ
ルコハク酸は、デセニル、ドデセニル、テトラドデセニ
ルコハク酸である。一般に、置換コハク酸アミドは、油
の重量に対して約0.02〜約0.3重量%の範囲、好ま
しくは約0.04〜0.15重量%の範囲の量で存在す
る。
【0032】本発明の組成物の微量成分として好適なト
リルトリアゾールは、炭化水素置換トリル1,2,3ト
リアゾール、アミノアルキル置換1,2,3トリルトリ
アゾール及びアルキルアミノアルキル1,2,3トリル
トリアゾールである。特に好ましいトリルトリアゾール

が、添加剤のために可溶化剤が必要とされるような粘度
であるときにのみ、ポリオールエステルが組成物中に取
り入れられることが好ましい。一般に、油の粘度が10
0℃において約12cStより大きいとき、エステル可
溶化剤が用いられる。
【0040】本発明の組成物は、また、組成物の粘度を
増大させる増粘剤を含むことができる。好適な増粘剤
は、高粘度ポリαオレフィン、ポリイソブチレン、エチ
レンプロピレンコーポリマー及び同様な増粘剤を含む。
一般に、これらの増粘剤は、油の重量に対して30重量
