Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to thinning, miniaturization, and reduction in the number of parts, without deteriorating antenna characteristic, and to prevent a user from unintentionally opening a battery cap. SOLUTION: (a) is a sectional view showing a state in which a battery lid is closed, and (b) is a sectional view showing a state in which the lid is opened, showing a structure of a battery housing part 111 provided at a right lower part of a case main body. In (a), a battery 4 is held with walls 6 and 7 and a battery lid 2, and is housed in a state being pressed to the battery lid 2 by a sprint resilience of a positive electrode terminal 5 made of a spring. When the battery 2 is taken out, a stopper 3 is first slid upwards, and the battery lid 2 locked at its tip end 31 is released. Next, when the battery lid 2 is slid in the right side direction, the battery 2 is ejected to the outside by a spring force as shown in (b). At this time, the battery lid 2 is turned with a metal cylinder 9 which is a fulcrum. The metal cylinder 9, respectively, is fixed to top and bottom casing plates serving as an antenna function and connect both of them are electrically.

[0004] Small electronic devices, in particular, individual paging receivers have been developed into card-shaped ones as they become thinner. A cosmetic label or the like is affixed to the front and back surfaces of this card type, and inside the inside thereof, a front housing sheet metal and a rear housing sheet metal which are components for realizing an antenna function essential for the receiver are provided. A metal cylinder is provided near one end of the front and back housing sheet metal to be electrically connected, and near the other end of the front and back housing sheet metal is electrically connected to a built-in circuit board. As a result, a loop-shaped antenna is formed in cross section. The characteristics of this antenna are improved as the area of the front and back casing sheet metal is increased and as the distance is increased. However, the prior art disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 4-45265 requires the back or front case sheet metal to be cut out in the area of the battery storage chamber, and the antenna area is reduced by that much, and the antenna characteristics deteriorate. There is.
