Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 統合的光学技術により製造され、干渉計により媒体の特性を検出するた めの、装置であって、 基板(1)上に設けられた入力マイクロガイド(2)であって、光ビームを発 する手段(8)へ入力端が接続される、入力マイクロガイド(2)と、 前記光ビームから、少なくとも参照ビームと測定ビームとを形成するための、 形成手段(10a、10b)と、 前記参照ビームと前記測定ビームとを干渉させ、干渉信号を供給するための、 手段(5a)と、 前記干渉信号を伝える出力マイクロガイド(5)の出力端へ接続する、検出手 段(9)と 前記測定ビームと調査する前記媒体との間の、相互作用ゾーン(10b)と、 を備えるとともに、 前記形成手段は、 前記入力及び出力マイクロガイド(2、5)の間に配置されたフラットガイド (10)であって、各マイクロガイドと前記フラットガイドとの間の光トンネル 効果により、光結合が成し遂げられるように配置された、フラットガイドと、 少なくとも、前記媒体に対して感度のない第1ゾーン(10a)と、前記媒体 との相互作用ゾーンを構成する第2ゾーン(10b)と、 を備えることを特徴とする装置。 2. 前記相互作用ゾーンは、調査する前記媒体に対して感度のある、且つ、 前記基板(1)上に置かれた、上板を、備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載 の装置。 3. 調査する前記媒体の特性にしたがって、前記上板の光係数を変えること を特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。 4. 調査する前記媒体の特性にしたがって、前記上板の厚さを変えることを 特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。 5. 前記フラットガイド(10)は、入力及び出力マイクロガイド(2、5 )に対してそれぞれ平行な2つの辺(12、13)を備えており、前記辺のそれ ぞれは、マイクロガイドの中央部分(2b、5a)の近くに配置されている、こ とを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の装置。 6. 前記出力マイクロガイド(5)と関係づけられるフラットガイドの辺( 13)は、前記入力マイクロガイド(2)と関係づけられるフラットガイドの辺 (12)よりも、長い、ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。 7. 前記入力及び出力マイクロガイド(2、5)は平行に設けられており、 前記相互作用ゾーン(10b)は平行四辺形の形状をしており、この平行四辺形 の2つの辺は前記マイクロガイド(2、5)と平行である、ことを特徴とする請 求項5又は請求項6に記載の装置。 8. 前記相互作用ゾーン(10b)は三角形の形状をしており、この三角形 は、前記フラットガイド(10)を前記入力マイクロガイド(2)と関係づける ようにする辺上にある1つの辺と、前記フラットガイド(10)を前記出力マイ クロガイド(5)と関係づけるようにする辺上にある反対側頂点(15)とを、 有する、ことを特徴とする請求項5又は請求項6に記載の装置。 9. 前記入力マイクロガイド(2)の出力端へ接続された、参照光信号を検 出するための手段(11)を、備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8の いずれかに記載の装置。
