Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 放射線源と、複数の放射線ビーム治療室と、放射線ビーム治療室の選択さ れた1つに放射線を向けるための多重化されたスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送シ ステムとを備えている放射線ビーム治療システムにおいて、 (a)選択された治療室からビームリクエスト信号を受信するステップと; (b)該ビームリクエスト信号からビームパス構成信号を引き出すステップと; (c)該選択されたビームパス構成信号に従ってスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送 システムの構成を選択するステップと; (d)スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システムの構成を検出して、スイッチヤー ド及びビーム伝送システムの構成が放射線ビームを前記選択された治療室のみに 伝送されるようになっていることを確認するステップと; (e)ステップ(d)に応じて放射線を前記選択された治療室に送るステップと を備えていることを特徴とする放射線ビームセキュリティ方法。 2. 前記ステップ(d)が、 (f)前記検出ステップからスイッチヤード及びビーム 伝送システム構成信号を引き出すステップと; (g)スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システム構成信号と前記ビームパス構成信 号とを比較するステップと; (h)スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システム構成信号中に選択されたビームパ ス構成信号の各エレメントが含まれていることを確認するステップと、 (i)前記選択されたビームパス構成信号中にスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送シ ステム構成信号の各エレメントが含まれていることを確認するステップとを備え ていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 3. ステップ(d)の確認がない場合にはビームの伝送を拒否するステップを 更に備えていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 4. 前記スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システム内の電気負荷に耐える部分の 温度を検出してオーバーヒート状態を判別するステップを更に備えていることを 特徴とする請求項3記載の方法。 5. 前記ビーム伝送システム及びスイッチヤード内の電気負荷に耐える部分に 人間が接触している可能性を検 出するステップと; 人間が接触している可能性がある場合にはビームの伝送を拒否するステップと をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。 6. 冗長通信パスによって検出された情報を伝送するステップを更に備えてい ることを特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。 7. 前記冗長通信パスは相補的ロジックであることを特徴とする請求項6記載 の方法。 8. 前記相補的ロジック冗長通信パスを比較して通信リンク障害を判別するス テップと: 通信リンク障害がある場合にはビームの伝送を拒否するステップとを更に備え ていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。 9. 前記選択されたビームパス構成信号を相補的ロジック冗長通信パスによっ て伝送するステップと; 前記スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システム構成信号を相補的ロジック冗長通 信パスによって伝送するステッ プと; それぞれの相補的ロジック冗長通信パスを比較して通信リンク障害を判別する ステップと; 通信リンク障害がある場合にビームの伝送を拒否するステップとを更に備えて いることを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 10. 前記相補的ロジック冗長通信パスのそれぞれにおいて、前記スイッチヤ ード及びビーム伝送システム構成信号と前記選択されたビームパス構成信号とを 比較してビームパスエラーを判別するステップと; ビームパスエラーがある場合にはビームの伝送を拒否するステップとを更に備 えていることを特徴とする請求項9記載の方法。 11. 放射線源と、複数の放射線ビーム治療室と、放射線ビーム治療室の選択 された1つに放射線を向けるための多重化されたスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送 システムとを備えている放射線ビーム治療システムにおいて、 (a)選択された治療室からビームリクエスト信号を受信する手段と; (b)該ビームリクエスト信号からビームパス構成信号 を引き出す手段と; (c)該選択されたビームパス構成信号に従ってスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送 システム構成を選択する手段と; (d)スイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システムの構成を検出して、スイッチヤー ド及びビーム伝送システムの構成が放射線ビームを前記選択された治療室のみに 伝送するようになっていることを確認する手段と; (e)放射線を前記選択された治療室に送る手段とを備えていることを特徴とす る放射線ビームセキュリティのための装置。 12. 放射線源と、複数の放射線ビーム治療室と、放射線ビーム治療室の選択 された1つに放射線を向けるための多重化されたスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送 システムとを備えている放射線ビーム治療システムにおいて、 前記多重化されたスイッチヤード及びビーム伝送システムのエレメントからな る複数のグループを備えており、各グループは他のグループとは異なる共通の機 能特性を有しており、 共通の機能特性を有する前記グループのそれぞれを制御するための専用のコン トローラを備えていることを特徴とする多重化されたスイッチヤード及びビーム 伝送シ ステムを制御するための装置。 13. 前記グループの少なくとも1つはスイッチヤード双極子マグネットアレ イを備えており、該スイッチヤード双極子マグネットアレイは、前記放射線ビー ム処置室に対応する複数の放射線ビームパスの内の選択された1つに、陽子放射 線ビームを向ける専用コントローラによって、制御されることを特徴とする請求 項12記載の装置。 14. 前記グループの少なくとも1つは一組の双極子マグネットを備えており 、該双極子マグネットは、前記複数の放射線ビームパスのそれぞれに分配されて おり、前記複数の放射線ビームパスの内の選択された1つに陽子放射線ビームを 向ける専用コントローラによって制御されることを特徴とする請求項13記載の 装置。
