Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.i)既知特性を有するフィルターに供給流を通過させ; ii)連続的又は何回かの時間間隔をおいて、フィルターを横切った供給流に対す る抵抗の変化を測定し;及び iii)このデータから、フィルターに対する供給流の汚れ特性を表す供給汚れ指 数(FFI)を算定する各工程から構成されることを特徴とする既知特性を有す るフィルターに対する供給流の汚れ効果を測定する方法。 2.FFIは、瀘過された容積の関数としてフィルターを横切る抵抗の変化をプ ロットし、且つそのようにプロットされたカーブの勾配をカーブが直線部にさし かかる点又は間隔で計測することにより算定される請求の範囲第1項記載の方法 。 3.抵抗の変化が、時間に関するフィルター通過供給流の累積容積を読み取るこ とにより計測される請求の範囲第2項記載の方法。 4.圧力検出装置が、抵抗変化をトランスメンブレン圧力(TMP)降下の表現 に関係付けるためにフィルターのいずれかの側に配置される請求の範囲第2項記 載の方法。 5.i)本システムの幾つかの運転パラメータを監視することで、瀘過システム で使用される瀘過エレメントの抵抗を測定し; ii)瀘過システムへの供給流の汚れ特性を表す供給汚れ指数をi)で測定された 抵抗値を使用して算定し;及び iii)算定された供給汚れ指数の値に応じて瀘過システムの運転を制御する各工 程から構成されたことを特徴とする瀘過システムを監視して制御するオンライン 方法。 6.i)既知特性を有するフィルターに所定圧力で供給流のサンプルを通し; ii)連続的に又は何回かの時間間隔に渡って、フィルターを横切る供給流に対す る流れ抵抗の変化を測定し;及び iii)このデータから、既知フィルターにおける供給流サンプルの汚れ特性を表 す供給汚れ指数(FFI)を算定する各工程を有していることを特徴とした供給 流の潜在的汚れ効果を測定するオフライン方法。 7.更に、該FFIを瀘過装置に使用する膜フィルターについて算定される第2 のFFIと相関させる工程を有している請求の範囲第6項記載の方法。 8.該FFIは、瀘過された容積の関数としてフィルターを横切った抵抗の変化 をプロットし、且つそのようにプロットされたカーブの勾配をカーブがほぼ直線 部にさしかかる点又は間隔で計測することで算定される請求の範囲第6項記載の 方法。 9.フィルターの抵抗の変化は、フィルターを通過した供給流の累積容積を所定 時間に幾つかの所定点で記録することで計測される請求の範囲第6項記載の方法 。 10.圧力検出装置が、時間に関してフィルターの抵抗の変化を計測又は推定す るために使われる請求の範囲第6項記載の方法。 11.FFIが、抵抗又は圧力のデータの入力に応答してコンピュータによって 算定される請求の範囲第6項記載の方法。 12.コンピュータが、FFIのより正確な算定を行うために入力されたデータ から推定する請求の範囲第11項記載の方法。 13.既知特性を有するフィルターと; 所定の圧力で供給流のサンプルを上記フィルターに通す手段と;及び 時間に関してフィルターを横切る供給流に対する流れ抵抗の変化を計測する手段 と; 他の既知フィルターにおける供給流の潜在的な汚れ効果を推定するように、流れ に対する計測された抵抗の変化に基づいて、フィルターに対する供給流の汚れ特 性を表示する供給汚れ指数(FFI)を数量的に算定する手段とを有しているこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の方法と; を含んで、請求の範囲第1項の方法によって供給流の潜在的汚れ効果を測定する のに使用する装置。 14.フィルターに供給流サンプルを通す手段が、サンプルを保持する容器と、 所定圧力でサンプルをフィルターに送るために容器内のサンプルを加圧する加圧 手段を加圧する手段とを有している請求の範囲第13項記載の装置。 15.加圧手段が、手動ポンプである請求の範囲第14項記載の装置。 16.容器及び加圧手段が、改造された手動操作されるガーデン噴霧器の形で用 意されている請求の範囲第13又は14項記載の装置。 17.フィルターは、酢酸セルロースタイプのフィルターエレメントを使ってい る請求の範囲第14項記載の装置。 18.一つ又はそれ以上の手動操作可能な弁が本装置の注水と清掃ができるよう に設けられている請求の範囲第14項記載の装置。 19.a)所定のサンプリング率で瀘過システム内の選定された箇所で システ ムパラメータ値をサンプリングし; b)サンプルされたパラメータ値からパラメータプロフィル特性を所定の時間 間隔で発生させ;及び c)瀘過システムの正しい運転を測定するためにパラメータプロフィル特性を 分析する各工程から構成されていることを特徴とするフィルターシステムの運転 を監視する方法。 20.分析工程は、所望された特性に対して発生されたプロフィル特性を比較し 、所望特性から逸脱する領域を、発生された特性内で同定する工程を有している 請求の範囲第19項記載の方法。 21.a)所定のサンプリング率で瀘過システム内の選定された箇所でシステム パラメータ値をサンプリングする手段と; b)サンプルされたパラメータ値からパラメータプロフィル特性を所定の時間 間隔で発生させる手段と;及び c)瀘過システムの正しい運転を測定するためにパラメータプロフィル特性を 分析する手段とから構成されていることを特徴とするフィルターシステムの運転 を監視する装置。 22.分析手段は、発生されたプロフィル特性を所望の特性に対して比較して所 望の特性から逸脱した領域を発生された特性内で同定する手段を含んでいる請求 の範囲第21項記載の装置。 23.比較の結果として、分析手段は逸脱を惹起する故障を同様に表示して、故 障が修正又は回避され且つシステム運転が最適運転に復帰されるように問題に対 する可能な解決を示唆する請求の範囲第22項記載の装置。 24.オペレータ/ユーザには、発生されたプロフィル特性の対話式表示装置が 備えられており、オペレータは関心のある発生プロフィル特性の領域を表示でき 且つ故障についての詳細と発生プロフィル特性のその領域の分析に関する解決策 を得ることができる請求の範囲第23項記載の装置。 25.i)本システムの幾つかの運転パラメータを監視することによって、本シ ステムの逆洗サイクル中の所定時期に本システムに使用される瀘過エレメントの 抵抗値を測定し; ii)i)で測定された抵抗値を使って、瀘過システムの逆洗サイクルの効率を 表す逆洗効率値を算定し;及び iii) 測定された逆洗効率値に応じて瀘過システムの運転を制御する工程から 構成されている瀘過システムを監視し制御する方法。 26.逆洗サイクル中のその所定時期が、前の逆洗の直後、次の逆洗の直前と該 次の逆洗の直後である請求の範囲第25項記載の方法。 27.i)本システムの幾つかの運転パラメータを監視することによって、本シ ステムの逆洗サイクル中の所定時期に本システムに使用される瀘過エレメントの 抵抗値を測定する手段と; ii)i)で測定された抵抗値を使って瀘過システムの逆洗サイクルの効率を表 す逆洗効率値を算定する手段と;及び iii) 算定された逆洗効率値に応じて瀘過システムの運転を制御する手段とか ら構成されていることを特徴とする瀘過システムを監視し制御する装置。 28.逆洗サイクル中の所定時期が、前の逆洗の直後、次の逆洗の直前と該次の 逆洗の直後である請求の範囲第27項記載の装置。
