Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. カテーテルケーブルの端に接続されるようにされ、アンテナ長さLに沿っ てマイクロ波エネルギを放出するためのヘリカルアンテナであって、 前記ケーブルの周囲に沿って配置された第1の導体と、 前記カテーテルケーブルの端から延び、前記ケーブルに接続された第1の端お よび第2端を持つ第2の導体と、 前記第2の導体の前記第2の端に接続された第3の端および前記第1の導体に 接続された第4の端を持つ第3の導体とを備え、 前記第3の導体は、一定直径Dで、隣接したコイル間の距離が一定値Sで、コ イル巻き数がNで巻かれ、前記第2の導体の直線長さLLが LL=N(S2+(]D)2) なる関係によって定義されるが、LLは74mm乃至112mmの範囲またはそ の0でない整数の倍数である直線長さを有しているヘリカルアンテナ。 2. 前記アンテナの全長に少なくとも1層以上のコーティングを有する請求項 1に記載のヘリカルアンテナ。 3. 前記コーティングが低誘電体で、かつ、低損失正接(tangent)をもつ金 属からなる請求項2に記載ののヘリカルアンテナ。 4. 前記コーティングがシリコーンからなる請求項3記載のヘリカルアンテナ 。 5. 前記第1の導体が複数のより線からなる請求項1記載のヘリカルアンテナ 。 6. マイクロ波エネルギー源から人体内の目標領域にマイクロ波エネルギーを 放出するシステムであって、 マイクロ波エネルギー源に接続された遠端および人体に位置させるための近端 とを有するケーブルと、 前記ケーブルの周囲に沿って配置され、前記ケーブルの近端で終わる第1の導 体と、 前記ケーブルの第2の端に配置されたヘリカルアンテナ であって、前記ケーブルの近端から延び、前記ケーブルに接続された第1の端お よび第2端を持つ第2の導体と、前記第2の導体の前記第2の端に接続された第 3の端および前記第1の導体に接続された第4の端を持つ第3の導体とを備え、 前記第3の導体は、一定直径Dで、隣接したコイル間の距離が一定値Sで、コイ ル巻き数がNで巻かれ、前記第2の導体の直線長さLLが LL=N(S2+(]D)2) なる関係によって定義されるが、LLは74mm乃至112mmの範囲またはそ の0でない整数の倍数である直線長さを有しているヘリカルアンテナとを備えた システム。 7. ケーブルの周に沿って配置された外部導体を有するカテーテルケーブルの 近端に配置されて、アンテナの長さでのみ所望の周波数のマイクロ波エネルギー を放出するヘリカルアンテナの製造方法であって、 内部導体を前記ケーブルの近端から長さLだけ延ばし、 前記内部導体を長さLで一定直径Dで、隣接したコイル間の距離が一定値Sで 、コイル巻き数がNで巻き、前記ワイヤの直線長さLLが LL=N(S2+(]D)2) なる関係によって定義されるが、LLは74mm乃至112mmの範囲またはそ の0でない整数の倍数である直線長さとし、 前記内部導体を前記外部導体に接続するヘリカルアンテナの製造方法。
