Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 患者に流体を投与する前に前記流体を加熱するための流体加熱装置であっ て、 前記流体が流れる高分子フロースルー構造と、 前記フロースルー構造内に成形された、前記流体を加熱する少なくとも一つの 電気抵抗加熱素子と を含む装置。 2. 前記フロースルー構造がチャンバを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 3. 前記チャンバが中央壁面を有し、前記加熱素子が前記中央壁面内に成形さ れる、請求項2に記載の装置。 4. 前記チャンバが、制限付迷路状の流路を形成するための回り止めを含む、 請求項2に記載の装置。 5. 前記フロースルー構造がチューブを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 6. 前記加熱素子が、前記チューブの内側の流体側の壁面に沿って配置される 、請求項5に記載の装置。 7. 前記フロースルー構造を出た前記流体の吐出温度を測定する温度監視素子 を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 8. 前記温度監視素子が、前記フロースルー構造を出た流体の吐出流路に配置 されたプローブを更に含む、請求項7に記載の装置。 9. 前記温度監視素子が更にサーミスタを含む、請求項8に記載の装置。 10. 前記装置が、電力及び温度を制御するための電気的接続素子を更に含む 、請求項1に記載の装置。 11. 前記装置が、前記フロースルー構造内に流体がないことを検出するセン サを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 12. 前記装置が使い捨てである、請求項1に記載の装置。 13. 前記装置が、前記加熱素子の表面と前記フロースルー構造の内側との間 に配置された生体適合性の保護材料を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 14. 前記装置が、熱の損失を抑えるために絶縁材料を更に含む、請求項1に 記載の装置。 15. 前記装置が、流体の流れを駆動する機械的手段を更に含む、請求項1に 記載の装置。 16. 前記加熱素子が少なくとも約50ワットを出す容量を有する、請求項1 に記載の装置。 17. 前記装置が、約10ml/分から約1000ml/分の範囲の流体流の 容量を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。 18. 食刻された金属箔、 炭素分散抵抗材料、及び ダイ−カット抵抗材料 のいずれかから選択される加熱素子を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 19. 患者へ流体を投与する前に前記流体を加熱する流体加熱システムであっ て、 前記流体が流れる高分子フロースルー構造と、 前記フロースルー構造内に成形された、前記流体を加熱するための少なくとも 一つの電気抵抗加熱素子と、 前記フロースルー構造に取付の可能な、前記加熱素子への電力を制御するため の外部制御器と を含むシステム。 20. 前記フロー構造に配置された電気的接続素子を受け取るよう、前記制御 器を前記フロースルー構造に取り付ける取付機構 を更に含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。 21. 前記加熱素子の電気抵抗を検出する抵抗センサを更に含む、請求項19 に記載のシステム。 22. 前記システムが、異状が発生したときに前記加熱素子への電力を自動的 に遮断する電力遮断回路ループを更に含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。 23. 前記システムが、異状が発生したときに鳴動する警報器を更に含む、請 求項19に記載のシステム。 24. 前記システムが、前記制御器を支柱に取り付けるための取付機構を更に 含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。 25. 前記システムが、吐出流体温度を検出する赤外温度センサを更に含む、 請求項19に記載のシステム。 26. 前記システムが、吐出流体温度を二数字温度表示する発光ダイオード表 示部と、前記吐出流体温度が所定の温度範囲であるときにこれを示す少なくとも 一つの発光部とを更に含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。 27. 前記フロースルー構造がチャンバである、請求項19に記載のシステム 。 28. 前記フロースルー構造がチューブである、請求項19に記載のシステム 。 29. 生体に入る流体を加熱するための方法であって、 流体が通過することのできる高分子フロースルー構造を提供するステップと、 前記フロースルー構造内に成形された少なくとも一つの電気抵抗加熱素子を提 供するステップと、 前記フロースルー構造内に前記流体を流すステップと、 前記流体が前記フロースルー構造を流れている間に前記流体を前記加熱素子に より加熱するステップと を含む方法。 30. 前記加熱するステップが、前記流体を、約34℃から約45℃までの範 囲内の所定の所望の温度に加熱するステップを更に含む、請求項29に記載の方 法。 31. 前記加熱するステップが、前記流体を、前記流体の保管温度より高い最 高約50℃までの温度に加熱するステップを更に含む、請求項29に記載の方法 。 32. 前記加熱素子全体の抵抗を測定して前記抵抗を前記加熱素子の温度に相 関させることで前記加熱素子の温度を監視するステップ を更に含む、請求項29に記載の方法。
