Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.検査する被験者の血液が分布した体組織と操作時に面する接触面を有する アプリケータブロックを備えるキャリア本体を備えた無侵襲的な血液の光学的酸 素飽和度測定用センサであって、該アプリケータブロックは、相互の位置が近傍 した、相手とは異なる波長の光をそれぞれ発する少なくとも2つのポイント状発 光器と、該少なくとも2つの発光器の周囲に同心的に設けられるほぼ環状の少な くとも第1の光検出ターミナルとを備え、該光検出ターミナルは、光検出装置と 連結され、前記体組織から到達する光を捕捉するための接触しない光捕捉端部を 有することを特徴とするセンサ。 2.前記発光器は、前記アプリケータブロック内に位置する光源であることを 特徴とする請求項1に記載のセンサ。 3.前記発光器はそれぞれ、接触しない発光端部を有し、且つ光源と別の端部 を通して連結する発光ターミナルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のセン サ。 4.前記発光ターミナルは、オプティカルファイバーの束それぞれからなるこ とを特徴とする請求項3に記載のセンサ。 5.前記光検出ターミナルは、各々が接触しない光捕捉端部を有し且つ別の端 部を通じて光検出装置に連結される複数のオプティカルファイバからなることを 特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載のセンサ。 6.前記アプリケータブロックは、前記第1の光検出ターミナルと同心で且つ 該第1のターミナルと離れて位置する第2のほぼ環状の光検出ターミナルを有す ることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載のセンサ。 7.前記光源は、670〜940nmの範囲内の単色光をそれぞれ発するレー ザーダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項3から6のいずれか1つに記載の センサ。 8.第1の光源は、750〜760nmの光を発し、第2の光源は780〜8 00nmの光を発することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のセンサ。 9.前記光検出装置は光ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1から8の いずれか1つに記載のセンサ。 10.前記アプリケータブロックは、軸状の、前記接触面に対して垂直な、前 記発光ターミナルを保持する貫通孔と、前記孔の周囲に同心的に設けられた、光 検出ターミナルのそれぞれを収容する少なくとも1つのほぼ環状のスペースとを 備えることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1つに記載のセンサ。 11.各光検出ターミナルは、該ターミナルの接触しない光捕捉端部が前記接 触面と離れて収容用環状スペース内に位置するように、前記アプリケータブロッ クの前記ほぼ環状スペース内に位置しているので、前記環状スペースの空いた部 分は、鏡面反射を除くコリメータを構成することを特徴とする請求項10に記載 のセンサ。 12.オプティカルファイバを構成する検出ターミナルはそれぞれ、縦のファ イバ軸に垂直な面に向かって鋭角に傾斜した、斜めに切断された光捕捉端部を有 することを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか1つに記載のセンサ。 13.オプティカルファイバを構成する前記検出ターミナルの斜めに切断され た光捕捉端部が、該接触面と同じ高さかあるいは平行になるように、前記第1及 び第2の環状検出ターミナルを保持する少なくとも1つの環状スペースは、前記 接触面方向に広がる側壁を伴って斜めになっていることを特徴とする請求項12 に記載のセンサ。 14.相互に近傍する位置にある少なくとも2つの発光器と、前記少なくとも 2つの発光器の周囲に同心的に設けられ、少なくとも2つの光検出ターミナルと を支持し且つ接触面を有するアプリケータブロックを備えた光学センサを提供す る工程と、 検査する下層組織がある被験者の皮膚部分に、皮膚側に面する接触面を向けて 前記アプリケータブロックを置く工程と、 前記発光器から少なくとも2つの異なる波長の光を連続して発する工程と、 検査している組織から到達した光信号の強度を、前記少なくとも2つの光検出 ターミナルによって、完全に捕捉して検出する工程と、 前記少なくとも2つの環状光検出ターミナルによって、少なくとも2つの異な る波長のそれぞれで検出される光強度間の比を決める工程と、 上記比に基づいて血液の酸素飽和値を決める工程と、 を含むことを特徴とする、血液分布組織での血液の無侵襲的な光学的酸素飽和 度測定方法。 15.前記発光器は、前記アプリケータブロック内に位置する光源であること を特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。 16.前記発光器はそれぞれ、接触しない発光端部を有し、且つ光源と別の端 部を通して連結される発光ターミナルであることを特徴とする請求項14に記載 の方法。 17.前記光源は、670〜940nmの範囲内の単色光をそれぞれ発するレ ーザーダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項16のいずれか1つに記載の方 法。 18.第1の光源は、750〜760nmの光を発し、第2の光源は780〜 800nmの光を発することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 19.第1と第2の光検出器を有する請求項1から13のいずれかによって特 徴づけられる種類のセンサを提供する工程と、 測定を実施するために2点の時刻、つまり拍動性動脈血の圧力成分のゼロ点で ある第1点と、上記の頂点である第2点とを選択する工程と、 第1の波長光で組織を照射すると同時に、組織から到達する信号を前記第1及 び第2の検出器によって記録し、続いて、第2の波長光で組織を照射すると同時 に、組織から到達する信号を前記第1及び第2の検出器によって同時に記録する ことを含む前記第1点及び第2点での測定を実施する工程と、 前記2点の時刻それぞれにおける2つの強度比を決定する工程であって、第1 の強度比は、第1の波長での第1と第2の光検出器によって記録された光信号強 度間の比であって、第2の強度比は、第2の波長での第1と第2の光検出器によ って記録された光信号強度間の比であることを特徴とする工程と、 前記第1と第2の波長でのそれぞれの光信号の第1と第2の拍動的要素AC1 とAC2、つまり各波長における頂点とゼロ点で計算された強度比間の差をそれ ぞれ計算する工程と、 前記第1と第2の波長それぞれの光信号の第1と第2の一定要素DC1とDC 2、つまり2つの波長におけるゼロ点と頂点で計算された2つの強度比間の平均 をそれぞれ計算する工程と、 動脈血の酸素飽和度SaO2を以下の方程式にしたがって計算する工程と: 式中K1とK2は校正定数: を含む請求項14から18のいずれか1つに記載の方法。 20.検査する被験者の血液が分布した体組織に作動時に面する接触面を有す るアプリケータブロックを備えたキャリア本体を有するセンサであって、該アプ リケータブロックは、相互に近傍する位置にあり且つ相手とは異なる波長光をそ れぞれ発する少なくとも2つのポイント状発光器と、該少なくとも2つの発光タ ーミナルの周辺に同心的に設けられた、検査組織から到達する光を捕捉するため の接触しない光捕捉端部を有する少なくとも2つのほぼ環状の光検出ターミナル とを備えることを特徴とする該センサと、 前記発光ターミナルと連結した、少なくとも2つの異なる波長で光を発するこ とができる少なくとも2つの光源と、 前記少なくとも2つのほぼ環状の検出ターミナルと連結した少なくとも2つの 光学検出器と、 前記少なくとも2つの光源から前記発光ターミナルを通じて連続的に前記組織 に照射して、且つ前記少なくとも2つの検出ターミナルを通じて前記少なくとも 2つの検出器によって得られる光強度の同期測定を得るのに適した制御手段と、 前記同期測定の結果から対象となる性質を決定する演算処理機構と を備えることを特徴とする、無侵襲的な光学的血液酸素飽和度測定用装置。 21.前記発光器は前記アプリケータブロック内に位置する光源であることを 特徴とする請求項20に記載の装置。 22.前記発光器は各々、接触しない光発光端部を有し且つ別の端部を通じて 光源に連結される発光ターミナルであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の装 置。 23.前記光源は、670〜940nmの範囲内の単色光をそれぞれ発するレ ーザーダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項22のいずれか1つに記載の装 置。 24.第1の光源は、750〜760nmの光を発し、第2の光源は780〜 800nmの光を発することを特徴とする請求項23に記載の装置。
