Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多面再帰反射体と透明な熱可塑性樹脂とのアセンブリを具備し、該透明な 熱可塑性樹脂は少なくとも部分的に熱変形されて、該多面再帰反射体を概して収 納する凸状ドームを形成する再帰反射要素。 2.前記多面再帰反射体は、背中合わせに積層される第1及び第2の再帰反射 体を具備する請求項1に記載の要素。 3.前記多面再帰反射体は、三面再帰反射体を構成する請求項1に記載の要素 。 4.前記多面再帰反射体は、反射層に光学的に接続して配置された透明な微小 球の第1及び第2の層を両側に具備する請求項1に記載の要素。 5.外部に反射する透明な微小球の少なくとも前記第1の層と前記反射層との 間に挿入される透明なスペーサー層を更に含む請求項4に記載の要素。 6.前記多面再帰反射体は、微小球の前記第1の層に光学的接続する第1の反 射層と、微小球の前記第2の層に光学的接続する第2の反射層とを具備する請求 項4に記載の要素。 7.前記反射層は正反射体である請求項4に記載の要素。 8.前記透明な熱可塑性樹脂は、アクリル樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリウレ タン、ポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、フルオロポリマー及びポリ塩化ビニルか らなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の要素。 9.前記多面再帰反射体は前記凸状再帰反射ドームに対して不規則に配向した 請求項1に記載の複数の再帰反射要素から製造される湿性再帰反射舗道標識装置 。 10.請求項1に記載の複数の再帰反射要素が舗道標識ペイント によって舗道面に接着される湿性再帰反射舗道標識装置。 11.請求項1に記載の複数の再帰反射要素が舗道標識テープに熱結合される 湿性再帰反射舗道標識装置。 12.請求項1に記載の複数の再帰反射要素が2枚の熱可塑性シートの間に熱 貼合せされる湿性再帰反射舗道標識装置。 13.基板上に不規則に配置される複数の再帰反射要素を具備する湿性再帰反 射舗道標識装置であって、各再帰反射要素は透明な熱可塑性樹脂内に少なくとも 部分的に収納される少なくとも一つの多面再帰反射体を具備し、該再帰反射要素 は該基板に対して前記多面再帰反射体を不規則に配向させるように構成される湿 性再帰反射舗道標識装置。 14.前記再帰反射要素を前記基板に実質的に封止するオーバーコートを更に 含む請求項13に記載の装置。 15.前記再帰反射要素は略立方体である請求項13に記載の装置。 16.透明で可撓性のある熱可塑性樹脂内に概して押出成形された少なくとも 一つの多面再帰反射体を具備し、直径が約0.25〜2.5mmである再帰反射繊 維。 17.多面再帰反射体と透明な熱可塑性樹脂とのアセンブリを製造するステッ プと、 該透明な熱可塑性樹脂の少なくとも一部を熱変形して、多面再帰反射体を実質 的に収納する凸状ドームを規定するステップと、 を含む再帰反射要素製造方法。 18.前記再帰反射要素を舗道標識テープに熱結合するステップを更に含む請 求項17に記載の方法。 19.前記再帰反射要素を上部及び下部熱可塑性シートの間に熱接着するステ ップを更に含む請求項17に記載の方法。 20.前記再帰反射要素を接着剤によって舗道面に結合するステップを更に含 む請求項17に記載の方法。 21.前記接着剤は舗道標識ペイントを含む請求項20に記載の方法。 22.多面再帰反射体と透明な熱可塑性樹脂とのアセンブリを製造する前記ス テップは、 前記多面再帰反射体を透明な熱可塑性樹脂製の複数のシートの間に貼合せて再 帰反射アセンブリを形成するステップと、 前記再帰反射アセンブリを複数の小片に分割するステップと、 を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 23.前記小片は正方形である請求項22に記載の方法。 24.前記小片は円形である請求項22に記載の方法。 25.多面再帰反射体と透明な熱可塑性樹脂とのアセンブリを製造する前記ス テップは、 前記再帰反射アセンブリを複数の再帰反射小片に分割するステップと、 該再帰反射小片と該透明な熱可塑性樹脂との混合物を押出再帰反射部材に押出 成形するステップと、 該押出再帰反射部材を複数の押出再帰反射小片に分割するステップと、 を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 26.前記押出再帰反射部材は略円形断面を有する請求項25に記載の方法。 27.多面再帰反射体と透明な熱可塑性樹脂とのアセンブリを製造する前記ス テップは、 前記多面再帰反射体を透明な前記熱可塑性樹脂内に概して押出成形して押出再 帰反射部材を形成するステップと、 該押出再帰反射部材を複数の押出再帰反射小片に分割するステップと、 を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 28.前記多面再帰反射体を前記透明な熱可塑性樹脂内に押出成形する前記ス テップは、押出ステップの間に前記多面再帰反射体を捩るステップを更に含む請 求項27に記載の方法。 29.少なくとも一つの前記多面再帰反射体を前記透明な熱可塑性樹脂内に概 して押出成形して再帰反射繊維を形成する再帰反射繊維製造方法。 30.前記再帰反射繊維は直径が約0.5〜2.5mmである請求項29に記載 の方法。
