Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. ノズルを有し、該ノズルを通して塗料を面にスプレーするスプレー塗装装 置において用いられる光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置であって、 出射ビームを発生するレーザと、 前記出射ビームを基準ビームと測定ビームとに分割するビームスプリッタと、 前記測定ビーム及び前記基準ビームが、前記スプレー塗装装置の前記ノズルか ら選択された距離に位置決めされた収束点で収束するように、前記測定ビームを 反射する調整可能ミラーとよりなる光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置。 2. 前記基準ビームの前記面への照射位置は、塗装中に前記ノズルが向けられ る経路の幅方向ほぼ中央に配置された請求項1記載の光学式スプレー塗装最適化 装置。 3. 前記基準ビームは、前記ノズルの中心を通る水平面内に配置された請求項 2記載の光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置。 4. 前記レーザからの前記出射ビームは前向き方向に伝搬し、 前記基準ビームは前記ビームスプリッタから前記前向き方向に伝搬し、 前記測定ビームは前記ビームスプリッタから前記調整可能反射ミラーに向けて 、前記前向き方向に対して垂直な分割方向に伝搬し、 反射された前記測定ビームは、前記調整可能反射ミラーから、前記前向き方向 及び前記分割方向の双方を含む平面内を伝搬する請求項1記載の光学式スプレー 塗装最適化装置。 5. 電源から電力を受け取り、強度が調整された電力を前記レーザへ伝送する ことにより前記出射ビームの強度を調整する調整可能パワー強度スイッチを更に 備える請求項1記載の光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置。 6. 前記レーザは直流電流電源により駆動され、 該装置が所定期間運動しない場合に、前記レーザへの電源供給を中断させる運 動検出器スイッチを備える請求項1記載の光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置。 7. 調整されて前記反射ミラーの姿勢を変化させ、これにより、前記収束点の 前記ノズルからの前記選択された距離を変化させ得る制御ノブを更に備える請求 項1記載の光学式スプレー塗装最適化装置。 8. 前記レーザ、前記ビームスプリッタ、及び前記調整可能反射ミラーを保持 する容器を更に備え、該容器は、前記スプレー塗装装置の他部位に前記ノズルに 対する固定位置にて取り外し可能に取り付けられた請求項1記載の光学式スプレ ー塗装最適化装置。 9. 前記基準ビームは前記収束点に向けて伝搬する間に窓を通過し、前記測定 ビームも前記反射ミラーから前記収束点に向けて伝搬する間に前記窓を通過し、 エア源からエア流を受け取るエアホースと、 前記窓の僅かに前方に配置され、ほぼ前記窓のエッジに沿って延びるエアカー テンチューブとを備え、 該エアカーテンチューブは前記エアホースからエアを受け取ると共に、該チュ ーブの長さ方向に沿った1又は2以上のエア出口を有し、エアのカーテンは該エ ア出口を通って放出され前記窓を塗料噴 霧から保護する請求項1記載の光学式スプレー最適化装置。 10. ノズルを有し、該ノズルを通して塗料を面にスプレーするスプレー塗装 装置において、前記ノズルを前記面から適正なスプレー距離に位置決めする方法 であって、 基準ビームを固定方向に伝搬させ、 前記伝搬される基準ビームを、調整可能な方向に伝搬される測定ビームと交差 させて収束点を形成し、 前記収束点が前記面上に照らされるように、前記ノズルを、塗装される前記面 からスプレー距離に位置決めする、各段階よりなる方法。 11. 前記測定ビームが伝搬される方向を選択された量だけ調整することによ り前記収束点の前記基準ビームに沿った位置を調整する段階を更に備える請求項 10記載の方法。 12. 前記基準ビームが伝搬される前記固定前向き方向が、面が塗装される際 に前記ノズルが向けられる経路のほぼ中心に位置するように、前記基準ビームの 位置合わせを行い、 第1の経路に沿って塗料の第1の層を塗装し、 前記基準ビームの被塗装面への照射位置を前記第1の塗装経路のエッジに沿う ように位置合わせすることにより画定された第2の経路に沿って、塗料の第2の 層をスプレーする、各段階を更に備える請求項10記載の方法。
