(57)【要約】 【課題】 遊技機のリール装置において、大当たり入賞
時にプレーヤが受ける感激を十分に高めて遊興性向上を
図る。 【解決手段】 ３つのリール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃの
うち最後に停止する中央のリール１２Ｂの前方に、表示
窓１０８ａの位置とその上方の退避位置との間を移動可
能な、図柄Ｆｏが形成されたカバー部材１６を設ける。
リール１２Ｂがその図柄Ｆｏを表示窓１０８ａに一致さ
せるようにして停止する際、他の２つのリール１２Ａ、
１２Ｃがいずれも図柄Ｆｏを表示窓１０８ａに一致させ
るようにして停止している場合（すなわち大当たりにな
った場合）には、カバー部材１６が退避位置から表示窓
１０８ａの位置に移動し、該表示窓１０８ａの位置にお
いて微小振動した後停止するように構成し、該カバー部
材１６に形成された図柄Ｆｏ′が一風変わった態様で現
れるようにする。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、スロットマシン等
の遊技機に搭載されるリール装置に関するものである。
また、本発明を利用することで各種アミューズメント機
の遊興性の向上にも広く応用・対応することができる。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】スロットマシン（リール回転自動停止
型）やパチンコ機のスロット部等には、複数のリールを
有し、各リールの回転開始から所要時間経過後にその回
転を自動的に停止するリール装置が設けられているが、
このリール装置は一般に次のような構成になっている。
【０００３】すなわち、上記複数のリールは同一軸線を
回転中心として各々独立して回転するようになってお
り、各リールの周面上には複数の図柄が周方向に直列に
形成されている。そして、これら各リールは、プレーヤ
のスタート操作等により同時に回転を開始し、その後、
上記複数の図柄のうち１つの図柄をリール前方の表示窓
に一致させるようにして順次自動的に停止するようにな
っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、このよ
うないわば自動停止型のリール装置においては、各リー
ル前方の表示窓に現れた図柄の組合せが偶然的に特定の
図柄パターンと一致した場合に入賞となるにすぎないた
め、入賞時にプレーヤが受ける感激が必ずしも十分でな
く、遊興性の点で物足りないという問題があった。
【０００５】本発明は、このような事情に鑑みてなされ
たものであって、入賞時にプレーヤが受ける感激を十分
に高めて遊興性向上を図ることができる遊技機のリール
装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明に係る遊技機のリ
ール装置は、入賞時の感激を高める演出として、最後に
停止するリールが停止して入賞状態になる際に、所定の
図柄が形成されたカバー部材を一風変わった態様で出現
させるようにすることにより、上記目的達成を図るよう
にしたものである。
【０００７】すなわち、本発明は、同一軸線を回転中心
とし、各々周面上において複数の図柄が周方向に直列に
形成された複数のリールを備えてなり、これら各リール
を独立して回転させるとともに、前記複数の図柄のうち
１つの図柄を所定の設定角度位置に一致させるようにし
て前記各リールを順次自動的に停止させるように構成さ
れた遊技機のリール装置において、前記複数のリールの
うち最後に停止するリールの前方に、前記設定角度位置
と該設定角度位置以外の退避位置との間を移動可能な、
所定の図柄が形成されたカバー部材が設けられており、
前記最後に停止するリールが所定の図柄を前記設定角度
位置に一致させるようにして停止する際、他のリールが
前記所定の図柄との組合せにおいて特定の図柄を前記設
定角度位置に一致させるようにして停止している場合に
は、前記カバー部材が前記退避位置から前記設定角度位
置に移動し、該設定角度位置において微小振動した後停
止するように構成されていることを特徴とするものであ
る。
【０００８】上記カバー部材に形成された「所定の図
柄」は、上記各リールに形成された「所定の図柄」と同
じ図柄であってもよいし異なる図柄であってもよい。ま
た、上記「カバー部材」は、設定角度位置と退避位置と
の間を移動可能に設けられているものであれば、その移
動の態様は特に限定されるものではなく、直線運動であ
ってもよいし回動運動であってもよい。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面を用いて、本発明の実
施の形態について説明する。まず、本発明の第１実施形
態について説明する。
【００１０】図１は、本実施形態に係る遊技機のリール
装置を示す斜視図であり、図２は、該リール装置が組み
込まれたスロットマシン（遊技機）を示す斜視図であ
る。図１に示すように、上記リール装置１０は、３つの
リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃを備えてなっている。こ
れら３つのリール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃは、リール支
持ブラケット１４に各々独立して回転可能に支持されて
おり、その回転軸線Ａｘ１は同一軸線上に設定されてい
る。これら各リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃの周面上に
は、複数の図柄Ｆが周方向に直列に形成されている。
【００１１】図２に示すように、上記スロットマシン１
００は、リール自動停止型スロットマシンであって、コ
インエントリ１０２あるいはビルエントリ１０４にキャ
ッシュが投入されている状態で、ハンドルレバー１０６
が手前側に押し下げられると（あるいはスピンボタン１
１２が押されると）、上記リール装置１０が作動して、
その３つのリール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃが同時に回転
を開始し、その後これら各リールが、左側のリール１２
Ａ、右側のリール１２Ｃ、中央のリール１２Ｂの順で順
次自動的に回転を停止するようになっている。
【００１２】その際、上記各リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１
２Ｃは、上記複数の図柄Ｆのうち１つの図柄をリールガ
ラス１０８に形成された３つの表示窓１０８ａに一致さ
せるようにして回転を停止するようになっている。そし
て、上記各リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃが停止したと
き、上記３つの表示窓１０８ａに表示されている図柄Ｆ
の組合せが予め設定された入賞パターンと一致している
場合には、該入賞パターンに応じた枚数のコインがコイ
ントレイ１１０に流れ出すようになっている。
【００１３】なお、上記各リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２
Ｃにおいて各図柄Ｆが形成されている部分は、拡散透過
性を有する半透明部材で構成されている。そして、表示
窓１０８ａに位置する図柄Ｆは、各リール１２Ａ、１２
Ｂ、１２Ｃの内周側の空間に設けられた照明手段（図示
せず）により、裏側から明るく照らし出されるようにな
っている。さらに、上記複数の図柄ＦのうちＦｏで示す
図柄は１対のつり上がった目ｅを有しており、これら目
ｅの部分は直進透過性を有する透明部材（あるいは透
孔）で構成されている。
【００１４】上記３つの表示窓１０８ａすべてに上記図
柄Ｆｏが表示されるようにして上記各リール１２Ａ、１
２Ｂ、１２Ｃが停止した場合（図１に示すような状態に
なった場合）には、大当たり入賞パターンであるとして
大量のコインがコイントレイ１１０に流れ出すようにな
っている。このような大当たりを獲得したプレーヤは感
激を味わうこととなるが、その際、単に大量のコインを
コイントレイ１１０に流れ出させるだけでなく、プレー
ヤが受ける感激を一層高めるような何らかの演出をする
ことが望ましい。
【００１５】このような観点から、本実施形態において
は、次のような大当たり演出構造が設けられている。す
なわち、プレーヤが大当たりの感激を受ける瞬間は、上
記３つのリール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃのうち最後に停
止する中央のリール１２Ｂが、その図柄Ｆｏを表示窓１
０８ａに一致させるようにして停止する瞬間である。そ
こで、本実施形態においては、その瞬間、中央のリール
１２Ｂ前方の表示窓１０８ａに、図１に示すようなオバ
ケの図柄Ｆｏ′が上方から現れて微小振動した後停止す
る演出がなされるようになっている。
【００１６】上記図柄Ｆｏ′は、カバー部材１６に形成
されている。このカバー部材１６における図柄Ｆｏ′の
部分は、拡散透過性を有する半透明部材で構成されてお
り、さらに、この図柄Ｆｏ′の１対の丸い目ｅ′の部分
は、直進透過性を有する透明部材（あるいは透孔）で構
成されている。これら１対の目ｅ′は、上記リール１２
Ｂの図柄Ｆｏの１対の目ｅと同じ左右ピッチで形成され
ており、上記図柄Ｆｏ′が表示窓１０８ａに停止したと
き上記１対の目ｅと略同じ高さに位置するようになって
いる。
【００１７】上記カバー部材１６は、円弧状の側断面形
状を有する略矩形の板状部材からなり、中央のリール１
２Ｂの前方において、表示窓１０８ａの位置（設定角度
位置）と、その上方の退避位置とを取り得るように構成
されている。そして、これを実現するため、カバー部材
１６は、その左右両端部において左右１対の回動レバー
１８の先端部に固定されている。
【００１８】図３に示すように、上記各回動レバー１８
の基端部は、上記中央のリール１２Ｂの後方近傍におい
て上記リール支持ブラケット１４に固定されたモータ２
０に連結されている。そして、上記各回動レバー１８
は、モータ２０の駆動により、上記中央のリール１２Ｂ
の後方近傍に位置する回動軸線Ａｘ２回りに回動して、
その先端部に固定されたカバー部材１６の、上記表示窓
１０８ａの位置（図示実線位置）および退避位置（図示
２点鎖線位置）間における移動を行わせるようになって
いる。
【００１９】上記各回動レバー１８は、その基端部側が
Ｖ字形の樹脂製部材１８Ａからなり、その先端部側が上
下１対のステンレススチール製部材１８Ｂからなってい
る。上記樹脂製部材１８Ａは断面矩形状、上記ステンレ
ススチール製部材１８Ｂは板状に形成されており、これ
ら両部材はインサート成形により一体で形成されてい
る。そして、上記各回動レバー１８は、回動軸線Ａｘ２
回りの荷重に関してその樹脂製部材１８Ａの部分は剛体
として機能するが、そのステンレススチール製部材１８
Ｂの部分は弾性体として機能するようになっている。こ
のため、上記各回動レバー１８が、上記カバー部材１６
を退避位置から表示窓１０８ａの位置へ移動させるべく
回動軸線Ａｘ２回りに回動して表示窓１０８ａの位置で
停止すると、慣性力によりステンレススチール製部材１
８Ｂの部分が弾性変形し、これによりカバー部材１６は
図示２点鎖線で示すように微小振動し、この微小振動が
徐々に減衰して図示実線位置に停止するようになってい
る。
【００２０】図３において、上記中央のリール１２Ｂの
内周側空間における該リール１２Ｂの周面近傍には、左
右１対のＬＥＤ２２が設けられている。これら各ＬＥＤ
２２は、ボード２４を介して上記リール支持ブラケット
１４に固定されている。これら１対のＬＥＤ２２は、図
４に示すように、上記図柄Ｆｏの１対の目ｅおよび上記
図柄Ｆｏ′の１対の目ｅ′と同じ左右ピッチで設けられ
ており、かつ、上記図柄ＦｏおよびＦｏ′が表示窓１０
８ａに停止したとき、上記１対の目ｅおよび１対の目
ｅ′を結ぶ直線Ｌ上に位置するように設けられている。
【００２１】以上詳述したように、本実施形態に係る遊
技機のリール装置１０は、その３つのリール１２Ａ、１
２Ｂ、１２Ｃのうち最後に停止する中央のリール１２Ｂ
の前方に、表示窓１０８ａの位置とその上方の退避位置
との間を移動可能な、図柄Ｆｏ′が形成されたカバー部
材１６が設けられており、上記リール１２Ｂがその図柄
Ｆｏを表示窓１０８ａに一致させるようにして停止する
際、他の２つのリール１２Ａ、１２Ｃがいずれも図柄Ｆ
ｏを表示窓１０８ａに一致させるようにして停止してい
る場合（すなわち大当たりになった場合）には、カバー
部材１６が退避位置から表示窓１０８ａの位置に移動
し、該表示窓１０８ａの位置において微小振動した後停
止するように構成されているので、該カバー部材１６に
形成された図柄Ｆｏ′が一風変わった態様で現れること
となり、この演出により大当たり入賞時にプレーヤが受
ける感激を十分に高めて遊興性向上を図ることができ
る。
【００２２】また、本実施形態においては、カバー部材
１６が、回動軸線Ａｘ２回りに回動可能に設けられた回
動レバー１８の先端部に支持されるととともに、この回
動レバー１８の基端部に連結されたモータ２０により、
カバー部材１６が表示窓１０８ａの位置と退避位置とを
取り得るように回動レバー１８を回動させるように構成
されているが、該回動レバー１８はその先端部側の部分
がステンレススチール製部材１８Ｂで構成されており、
該ステンレススチール製部材１８Ｂの弾性変形によりカ
バー部材１６に上記微小振動を行わせるようになってい
るので、上記演出を簡易な構成により行うことができ
る。
【００２３】さらに、本実施形態においては、リール１
２Ｂの図柄Ｆｏおよびカバー部材１６の図柄Ｆｏ′に各
々左右１対の目ｅおよびｅ′が透光部として形成される
とともにリール１２Ｂの内周側空間に１対のＬＥＤ２２
が設けられており、リール１２Ｂが図柄Ｆｏを表示窓１
０８ａに一致させるようにして停止するとともにカバー
部材１６が表示窓１０８ａの位置において停止したと
き、上記各ＬＥＤ２２および上記各目ｅおよびｅ′が各
々一直線Ｌ上に位置するように構成されているので、大
当たり入賞時、１対のＬＥＤ２２の光が１対の目ｅおよ
び１対の目ｅ′を透過してリール１２Ｂの前方へ照射さ
れることとなり、この演出によりプレーヤが受ける感激
を一層高めることができる。
【００２４】ところで、本実施形態においては、最後に
停止する中央のリール１２Ｂが前記図柄Ｆｏを表示窓１
０８ａに一致させるようにして停止する際、他の２つの
リール１２Ａ，１２Ｃがいずれも同一の図柄Ｆｏを表示
窓１０８ａに一致させるように停止している場合、すな
わち３つの図柄が同一の前記図柄Ｆｏに揃う場合を大当
たりとし、前記カバー部材１６による演出を行ってい
る。しかしながら、これに限らず、最後に停止する中央
のリール１２Ｂが停止する際、他の２つのリール１２
Ａ，１２Ｃが中央のリール１２Ｂの停止予定図柄との組
合せにおいて大当たりとなる特定の図柄で停止している
場合にも、前記カバー部材１６による演出を行うように
してもよい。
【００２５】次に、本発明の第２実施形態について説明
する。図５は、本実施形態に係る遊技機のリール装置の
要部を示す側面図である。
【００２６】本実施形態に係るリール装置１０は、３つ
のリール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃおよびカバー部材１６
の構成については第１実施形態と同様であるが、回動レ
バー１８の構成およびモータ２０の駆動制御方法が第１
実施形態と異なっている。すなわち、本実施形態におい
ても、中央のリール１２Ｂの両側に１対の回動レバー１
８が設けられているが、これら各回動レバー１８は剛性
を有する樹脂製部材からなり、その回動軸線Ａｘ２は各
リール１２Ａ、１２Ｂ、１２Ｃの回転軸線Ａｘ１と同一
軸線上に設定されている。
【００２７】上記各回動レバー１８は、第１実施形態と
同様、モータ２０の駆動により回動軸線Ａｘ２回りに回
動するようになっているが、その際、モータ２０の各回
動レバー１８に対する駆動制御により、カバー部材１６
を図示２点鎖線で示す退避位置から表示窓１０８ａの位
置へ移動させたとき、これを該位置において所定時間微
小振動させた後に停止させるようになっている。
【００２８】このような駆動制御を可能ならしめるべ
く、上記１対の回動レバー１８のうち一方の回動レバー
１８には回動角度位置検出用の突片２６が設けられてお
り、該突片２６とフォトセンサ（図示せず）とにより、
各回動レバー１８が図示実線位置に到達したことを検出
するようになっている。そして、この検出信号に基づい
て、上記モータ２０は、各回動レバー１８が退避位置か
ら表示窓１０８ａの位置まで回動したとき、これら各回
動レバー１８をそのまま一旦図示２点鎖線の位置（図示
実線位置よりやや下方の位置）まで回動させてから反対
方向に図示２点鎖線の位置（図示実線位置よりやや上方
の位置）まで回動させ、以後数回にわたって図示２点鎖
線の位置相互間を往復回動させた後、図示実線位置に停
止させるようになっている。
【００２９】このように、本実施形態においても、カバ
ー部材１６を微小振動させた後、図示実線位置に停止さ
せるようになっているので、カバー部材１６に形成され
た図柄Ｆｏ′が一風変わった態様で現れることとなり、
この演出により大当たり入賞時にプレーヤが受ける感激
を十分に高めて遊興性向上を図ることができる。特に本
実施形態においては、モータ２０の駆動制御によりこの
ような作用効果を得ることができるので、上記各回動レ
バー１８を剛体のみで構成することができ、その構成の
簡易化を図ることができる。

【発明の効果】本発明に係る遊技機のリール装置は、同
一軸線を回転中心とし、各々周面上において複数の図柄
が周方向に直列に形成された複数のリールを備えてな
り、これら各リールを独立して回転させるとともに、上
記複数の図柄のうち１つの図柄を所定の設定角度位置に
一致させるようにして各リールを順次自動的に停止させ
るようになっているが、上記複数のリールのうち最後に
停止するリールの前方には、設定角度位置と該設定角度
位置以外の退避位置との間を移動可能な、所定の図柄が
形成されたカバー部材が設けられている。そして最後に
停止するリールが所定の図柄を設定角度位置に一致させ
るようにして停止する際、他のすべてのリールが上記所
定の図柄と同一の図柄を設定角度位置に一致させるよう
にして停止している場合には、カバー部材が退避位置か
ら設定角度位置に移動し、該設定角度位置において微小
振動した後停止するように構成されているので、該カバ
ー部材に形成された所定の図柄が一風変わった態様で現
れることとなり、この演出により入賞時にプレーヤが受
ける感激を十分に高めて遊興性向上を図ることができ
る。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 同一軸線を回転中心とし、各々周面上に
    おいて複数の図柄が周方向に直列に形成された複数のリ
    ールを備えてなり、これら各リールを独立して回転させ
    るとともに、前記複数の図柄のうち１つの図柄を所定の
    設定角度位置に一致させるようにして前記各リールを順
    次自動的に停止させるように構成された遊技機のリール
    装置において、 前記複数のリールのうち最後に停止するリールの前方
    に、前記設定角度位置と該設定角度位置以外の退避位置
    との間を移動可能な、所定の図柄が形成されたカバー部
    材が設けられており、 前記最後に停止するリールが所定の図柄を前記設定角度
    位置に一致させるようにして停止する際、他のリールが
    前記所定の図柄との組合せにおいて特定の図柄を前記設
    定角度位置に一致させるようにして停止している場合に
    は、前記カバー部材が前記退避位置から前記設定角度位
    置に移動し、該設定角度位置において微小振動した後停
    止するように構成されていることを特徴とする遊技機の
    リール装置。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記カバー部材が、所定の回動軸線回り
    に回動可能に設けられた回動レバーに支持されており、 前記回動レバーに、前記カバー部材が前記設定角度位置
    と前記退避位置とを取り得るように該回動レバーを回動
    させる回動レバー駆動手段が連結されていることを特徴
    とする請求項１記載の遊技機のリール装置。
  3. 【請求項３】 前記回動レバーの一部が、前記カバー部
    材に前記微小振動を行わせる弾性部材で構成されている
    ことを特徴とする請求項２記載の遊技機のリール装置。
  4. 【請求項４】 前記回動レバー駆動手段が、前記カバー
    部材に前記微小振動を行わせるべく前記回動レバーを駆
    動制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求
    項２記載の遊技機のリール装置。
  5. 【請求項５】 前記最後に停止するリールの内周側空間
    に発光体が設けられており、 前記最後に停止するリールの前記所定の図柄および前記
    カバー部材の前記所定の図柄に、各々透光部が形成され
    ており、 前記最後に停止するリールが前記所定の図柄を前記設定
    角度位置に一致させるようにして停止するとともに、前
    記カバー部材が前記設定角度位置において停止したと
    き、前記発光体および前記両透光部が一直線上に位置す
    るように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項１〜４
    いずれか記載の遊技機のリール装置。
