1502517 Electrical connector FIAT SpA 4 May 1976 [7 May 1975] 18265/76 Heading H2E A connector, for components, e.g. switch 1 or indicator lamp having flat pin terminals 2, comprises a base 7, a carrier body 3, snapfitted to the base through co-operating parts 5, 6 and 5a, 6a, a p.c.b. 10 having tracks 10a, the p.c.b. being interposed between the base and the body and resilient contact elements 4 (Fig. 3) fitted in apertures 11 in the body and connecting the tracks 10a to the flat pins 2 of the components when the components are inserted in the apertures 11. The elements 4 are fitted into housing 23 in apertures 11 with tongue 14 contacting a pin 2 by pressing it against a wall of aperture 11 and tongue 15 contacting a track 10a. The base 7 is provided with means, not shown, for fixing it to a support, e.g. the dash-board of a car, not shown.
