Abstract

PURPOSE: To purify exhaust gas without any loss of power or fuel, firstly by keeping all cylinder in running with mixture of almost constant air-to-fuel ratio in usual operating range and secondlly by holding a part of cylinders in running with rich mixture and others with lean mixture in some specific operating range.
