PURPOSE: To provide a method of resetting indication correcting mode of electronic timepiece, according to which conventional counter for measuring two seconds is unnecessitated, and termination of correcting mode is detected from content of counting succeeding to the final correcting mode, thus resetting time correcting mode to normal time counting condition by clearing control counter, whereby time required for manufacturing test and adjustment can be reduced.
