Abstract
PURPOSE: Cephalosporin derivatives of formula I (where R is H or ester residue; Z is 0 or S; R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl, or R3 and R4 may form a heterocyclic ring together with a nitrogen atom with or without oxygen atom. or the heterocyclic ring may be substituted wity a carbamoyl radical; Y is H, azido, lower alkanoyloxy, lower alkoxy, carbamoyloxy, alkylthio or heterocyclic ring-thio) and their nontoxic salts.
