Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a discharge lamp lighting device of phase control type, in which pulsating voltages are generated in syncronism with the conduction of a switch and are superposed upon a power source voltage so that one discharge lamp and then the other discharge lamp may be automatically lighted to facilitate reignition of the discharge lamps.
