PURPOSE:Devised is to allow the red-hot section of a glow-pug to protrude into the cylinder only when an engine is started, and after the start of the engine the red-hot section is to be withdrawn from the cylinder. In so doing, the starting mortion of an internal combustion engine can be assured with the possible longvity of the glow-plug.
