Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of treating pectin-containing effluent (or waste solution) by turning the pectin into a low molecule through a chemical process of non-bacteria ferment of mold by allowing the mold to partly contact the pectincontaining waste solution (such as an effluent from an orange-processing plant).
